Broke down and bought this as an mp3 album. 5 really good songs, the rest is kinda eh. If Mark E. Smith teamed up with Stuart Moxham from Young Marble Giants and sung songs completely in Welsh, it would sound like this. Also listening to Julian Cope's "Bill Drummond Said," which I could probably play on repeat for hours.

Husker Du - [I]Zen Arcade[/I]

I've always loved this, but it's been a while since I listened. This album really clicked with me today like it never has before. I actually used to think [I]New Day Rising[/I] was marginally better, but definitely not anymore. I've listened to this three times today in my car, and I honestly don't remember ever feeling so strongly about any album. There's something about this album that just [I]works[/I], it's so filled with passion and the way it's recorded is perfect. A true masterpiece.

you'll have to tell me how you rediscovered it because i currently think NDR is better (not a fan of all the hardcore filler in the middle)
