I really like the vocals.

The Feeding 09-07-2009 11:56 AM

would Behemoth fit in this thread?

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 12:07 PM

theyd have to squeeze

The Feeding 09-07-2009 12:12 PM

*oh snap* but seriously they are one of my favorites, I don't listen to a lot of DM. It tends to bore me after a while..

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 12:15 PM

i find death metal like behemoth to be the most boring kind. super polished ultra layered technical **** just sounds so unnatural and boring to me. i really just like the older kind.

on that note, was blaring asphyx's last one on earth all yesterday. ****ing killer album.

the krusher \m/

such a good albu, though, i much prefer the rack and the new one.

FatalEnergy 09-07-2009 12:57 PM

I echo the sediment.

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 01:36 PM

egh the rack is decent. i think last one on earth is far superior. the krusher is probably one of the most kickass songs ever. havent heard the new one, but im not really interested unless van druren is doing vocals again.

Txus 09-07-2009 01:42 PM

he is

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 01:46 PM

well **** me i guess i need to check it out

off topic, i got that green evening requiem you rec'd me last night. gonna give it a listen tonight.

Nostalgia 09-07-2009 01:47 PM

did you listen tot he albums i sent you?

Txus 09-07-2009 01:48 PM

Oh, sweet. Tell me what you think it!

And yeah, definitely check it out, really solid album.

You never sent me ****, Austin :(

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 01:50 PM

i listened to akitsa. it was definitely good, but idk it didnt really strike me as anything i havent heard before. i might not have been giving it enough attention, ill probably try listening to that again tonight too. i need to listen to the nargaroth tho, i think im going to like that one.

Txus 09-07-2009 01:53 PM

Akitsa is becoming my favorite BM band along GBK and Bone Awl.

Nepenthe 09-07-2009 01:56 PM

i really should give akitsa a better listen. i just had it on while i was playing mlb2k9 haha, not the best environment for black metal. ill try giving it a more dedicated spin tonight.

Txus 09-07-2009 01:57 PM

Cool, you have a lot of listening to do.

I'm gonna try that Hammock after watching a couple of movies, too. Looks very interesting.

nator 09-07-2009 03:28 PM

damn mang tell us mor eabout your favorite bm bands

masscows 09-07-2009 05:28 PM

re-recorded version of Ghosts of Flossenburg for the Arghoslent/Martial Barrage split is up on Drakkar's radio station...

http://www.drakkar666.com/drakkarproductions/main_frame.htm

it's ****ing cool as ****, the drumming is alot fancier than on the older version and there are some added harmonies. production is really good too, i can't wait for the split to come out.
Never heard of them :p

oh word

well maybe you should look into them. They're a bit old school sounding but more importantly they have mad riffage to the face

Txus 09-07-2009 10:02 PM

Just noticed its finnish DM, I'm definitely getting that.

Jaundice 09-07-2009 10:23 PM

Moon Flavor 09-07-2009 10:39 PM
he was being "facetious"
Nepenthe 09-07-2009 10:40 PM

Jaundice 09-07-2009 10:45 PM
