I want to say that too.

Is that from Story of Ricky? Because that is pretty much the best movie ever.
Senior year. Honestly.
AP European AP Government AP Politics AP Calculus AP Computer Programming AP English Along with sociology/psychology, teaching myself organic chemistry II, and forensic science.
Never heard of AP politics but hope you don't get overloaded. I took 3 and thats was enough though I passed two with 5's and one with a 4. |
Yah i had AP Chemistry and AP US history last year and got 5's on both of them. Chemistry was ****, two periods long for both semesters. I think i'll be fine, no science at least.
Politics is basically about the make up of government. I figured the two went hand in hand, and if I'm going to Georgetown it's hard to avoid political science. |
AP Gov is so siq
I'm enjoying it so far. I love government and politics.
Yeah AP gov was one of my favorite classes. Got a 5 on it. Wish they offered AP politics.
They are the same thing dude. AP Government And Politics.
Oh, wait, what? Your AP Gov must be American and your AP Politics must be comparitive. Cause there is no Politics test.
There is definitely a politics test because i know people that took it last year, lol.
Thats what I thought, never even heard of AP politics.
I dunno man... lol. I'm taking it...sooo
I guess I'm taking Comp gov and politics and US gov and politics. lollll
Yeah the two tests are AP Government And Politics (US) and Ap Government And Politics (Comparitive)
Yeah the two tests are AP Government And Politics (US) and Ap Government And Politics (Comparitive)
Yes yes. Should get interesting midyear on how the two courses compare. Calculus isn't going to be hard for me because I just coast my way through math. English is fun so far. I'm taking psychology too but we didn't have the clearance to call it AP because the syllabus didn't fit the guidelines of an AP course. I'll probably take the test anyway. Maybe I'll take music theory too... hmm |
The English test sucks so bad dude. English is such a subjective thing, I don't believe you can test it objectively. AP History was so easy, if you did well on that I suggest hopping on the SAT II for History. It's like the same format as the AP History but just easier questions.

Well I'm going to end up taking History on the SAT II's along with Advanced Math and Chemistry. I need to take 3 SAT II tests to get into Georgetown. :amaze: I hate the idea of English tests tbh. My class consists of 25 people (hoping a few drop out), and everyone thinks during discussion that just because they say something it'll be right because English is opinionated. But there is the consistent idea that literature does in fact can have a definite meaning, or at least a realm of acceptability. I'm so sick of people puling answers out of their a55. Edit : sleep. |
We dont have AP classes at my school. I'd love to be in some of them though.
You guys see Tiquan Underwood tonight? I went to school with that nigga, he's nuts.
True, the writer did have some specific theme or message when writing the novel but a) a lot of english teachers think they know exactly what the writer intended, and admittedly, they probably know more than the students but still not exactly what the writer intended b) everyone gets different things out of a novel
Its like Ray Bradbury saying 451 wasn't about censorship.
Things take certain meanings. |

Yep. Although a few novels say like The Great Gatsby the obvious intent of the author is more obvious than in others. I guess you gotta go by what time period as well cause we have a pretty accurate idea of what Scott Fitzgerald thought than sayyyy play writes of the Greeks. Granted thats a pretty far stretch between the two. |
The Great Gatsby sucked man
More like the Great Gaysby.
It did but that was an example.
The Great Gatsby sucked man
I fucking hated that book. Annoying characters in books piss the hell out of me. |
i haven't even read it
Gatsby is a flippin creeper.
I've tried to read TGG a few times but it just doesn't pull me in. It's not like A Clockwork Orange, where I actually have difficulty reading it, it's just like....it doesn't interest me enough to keep reading.
