TH is pretty boring, even A Blaze kind of bores me now save a few songs. New Darkthrone is pretty fun.

I rarely bother to figure out songs of other bands. Mostly due to every guitar tab in existence being made by a a 15 year old ****tard with hearing problems. And sometimes I just don't feel like taking the time to figure out all the chords myself.

Srsly I'm glad that this is no longer a tab site. Tabs suck and are [i]always[/i] incorrect. I [I]shun[/I] tab sites.

Well yeah, but whenever I pick up a guitar I just want to play and I don't feel like putting on a song, skipping to a specific riff and figuring out what they're doing.

I do like playing along to Iced Earth songs, though.

I eat most black metal songs for breakfast when it comes to figuring them out on guitar.

Brenoritvrezorkre gave me some real problems, mostly because of the production. [I]Vèrmyaprèb[/I] was especially difficult because so many of the riffs are buried under screaming and the pounding of the drum.

Gorgoroth - First three and the newest is all I've heard but I enjoy all 4 them.

Carpathian Forest - Journey Through The Cold Moors Of Svarttjern demo and Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods EP. I havent really heard anything after this, but I know some people on here enjoy some of their later albums, or maybe just the debut in particular.

Marduk - I have Opus Nocturne and while I rarely listen to it, I like it

Lord Belial - havent heard

Dark Funeral - meh

Yeah, same for me pretty much. Horror Show also has a lot of cool songs to play along to. Never managed to keep up with Travel In Stygian, though. My arm just cramps up at the riff just after the solo. :p

So the newest Gorgoroth is worth checking out?

Nifelheim is legit.

I personally like early Marduk a lot. Opus is the best by them for sure though. The mid period stuff with Legion is ****, but I actually kind of like their new stuff.
