I look forward to Tom Petty in June.
I look forward to seeing him in July.

JonG 04-28-2005 04:13 PM

I've met him before with my dad. I was too little to remember, but my dads friend is good friends with him and Aerosmith, so I've met Petty and the band, not Aerosmith though.

Woodstock 04-28-2005 06:15 PM

So, Beck's Bolero is a cool song. Any of you heard it, since I'd be happy to post it?

Well I'll be going with my dad, and travelling 2 hours but it will still be amazing.

Are tickets on sale for any of you guys yet? The Toronto ones aren't up and I just wanted to price range?

Woodstock, post it up.

No, the ABB show in Chicago is with moe. and tickets went on sale last week. I got crappy seats on the balcony because i couldn't get a hold of my dad to use his credit card that day, so i had to wait to the next day. That was the worst, watching all the good tickets being sold right infront of my eyes. :upset:

Not many people come to Iowa, so I tend to go to everybody that I like when they come here.

Also, May 25th I'll be seeing George Thorogood and the Destroyers.

I know, I would definitely be excited to see them.

The only bad thing is that its in August, right? That means almost the end of summer.

Alright so suddenly there is like a battle of the bands coming up, auditions are next week. So I threw together some friends and signed up. We only need one song, although I wouldn't mind doing a couple, and then playing the best one at the show.

One of my friends asked to play keyboards, so now I have to choose songs with keyboards (not that it's a real drag). So far I've decided on us playing either Time or Light My Fire, I may or may not think of some more. If you guys were to play just one song at a battle of the bands...what song would you choose? (try to think of one with a keyboard...just in case I wanna use your idea)

JonG 04-28-2005 10:42 PM

Erotomania by Dream Theater.
