For me at least. Its about the music man. I dig watchin buddy solo, hes inhuman, but bonham and moon can f[SIZE="2"]u[/SIZE]cking shred and make it mean somthing.

Definitely. Buddy was great, insane chops and skill all around, but Moon and Bonham had such incredible musicality. Moon is one of my favorites, he's basically what got me into drumming originally.

What Bonham can do with one pedal is simply amazing. Buddy does some fantastic solos but I don't know much about Keith...

Ya that is totaly true. I'm all about the groove. If a drummer has an amazing groove with great time and feel, bonham, then I would rate them higher over someone who only has massive chops.

Groove > Chops

What Keith lacks in ability he makes up for with insanity.

I've always thought Moon's technical ability was somewhat underrated. I mean, watch the Kids Are Alright DVD, songs like Young Man Blues. Watch his right hand, he does this flick thing across the kit that you can barely see.

But yes, he was insane. Just listen to Cobwebs and Strange if you need proof of that.

yes i agree, i heard some who song and first the fills were probably anything a drummer with no imagination could come up with and his beats were ok but his fills were over odne and his timing seemed kind of stupid. yeah i was kind of dissapointed.

Lucky! I have state testing :upset: Luckily I'm really good at them and always show up in or above the national 98% tile. :D High schools look at this thing though. At least I miss one of my major class. We usually have to have half of it at the end of the day when we have big tests in the morning. :)

I'm on spring break this week. I win!!! God damn, Fight Club is a straaaaaaaaaaaange movie.

But wholedzep, where you live? It looks like a good chance of everywhere getting snow days, there was seriously about 2 feet of snow where I am. Roads are almost undrivable.

I live in southeast Aurora. Although you may be right, I'm looking outside now and it's definitely started sticking to the roads. I'd love a snow day, we haven't had one this year yet. Usually my school gets more snow days than anyone else, but not this year. It sucks.

I live in a ****ty hic town in the southwest corner. Its a piece of ****. If someone handed me a sheet of towns and highschools to go too in colorado, along with a descrition and summary, this hell hole would be right there at the bottom. You may think living in the city sucks, but try coping with these raving idiots flying the "REBEL FLAG" and ****ing cousin they can get their hands on.

My girlfriend lives up in the boulder area, you should give her a hug for me some time. Since I see her once a freken month, if that. :upset:

That sucks about the long-distance thing. I'd hate only seeing my girlfriend once a month. I'd do it if I had to, but it'd definitely be tough.

I'd hate to live in that small of a town though. I live in the suburbs, so I actually like going downtown when I get a chance, like for a show or something. Last time I got down there was to see BB King, which was awesome.

Awsome man. Make sure you put up some pics and audio once its done.

My band is in the same type of deal right now. My dad's friend lent him all this recording equipment so we've turned my basement into a mini studio and we're recording our EP.
