Should I wait for him to quit or should I keep a good track record and fire him?
My personaly opinion is to boot his ass out; however, I'm a Nazi when it comes to having to deal with bandmates. I don't get along well with groups in musical situations, which is why most of the stuff myself or the current group of musicians I'm affiliated with puts out is at the very least composed by me. Not to say I don't value the opinions of the people I'm playing with...I just have a vision and a relentless itch to pursue it. |
Sounds like me......I have to write all the lyrics and I do most of the instrumental composition.....the most anybody else does is come up with **** when I need it and help me with structure and arrangement......I'm a prick.

programming the drums for an entire album is going to be a bitch and take forever, cuz I need them to not sound so technoindustrial-y.
I don't give a f*ck what anybody says....programming drums takes f*cking talent, especially if your doing music that doesn't exactly fit with that kind of thing (melodic death). |

I've used both a couple times (for many genres of music, although neither for my escapades in death metal) and can say that they have some very good material in them. |
That video is awesome. I share a birthday with Bill Nye

That's not the "lacking talent" way to get it done, that's the "Lack of a decent, human drummer" way to get it done. |

 Quoted for truth. >_> <_< |
So I've started on the drum programming and we'll give Robb a couple days to get his sh*t straight, or we'll boot him out and already have a start on the drum tracks..........

Hey all.
I've been having a bad week myself. I've missed a few classes and I'm stressed about the possibility of punishment...in addition, I'm a little nervous about next year. Me and my girl will be seperated, as I've said, she in England, myself in Italy. We have decided that in order to preserve our sanity we should allow ourselves to go out with others if we want, and perhaps even casually date, while keeping in mind feelings for one another that we may still have so as not to disrespect the other. But right now, I'm feeling stressed about it. It's odd to think of being in an open relationship with someone I know I love, and at the same time I feel like I really need to stretch out some more...I'll be abroad, she'll be abroad, we're each other's first relationships, and I think maybe both of us are feeling like next year's the year to branch out. I can't know what I'll want until I'm there, but I've decided that whatever I want I'm going to go for it. Hopefully that doesn't make me a jerk guy or something, but I've really got to know that I will allow myself to have whatever I feel like I need, or desire, powerfully enough. And it's important that I accept the possibility that Becca might do this as well--and I also need to accept the possibility that she might not, and that she'll be hurt. But I think everything will be fine. I just need to get there. |

But what would you prefer honestly, knowing that she is dating other people and you knowing about it, or living a whole year in doubt because you don't know what she is doing and if she's breaking her oath with you? Seriously, the way around it is leaving it as an open relation thing, it will be healthier for you somehow, and you'll feel better than living probably a lie. |

I figure if I get to that point with anyone it will indicate a shift of emotion anyway, and so I will probably have to break up with her. Just the thought of doing such a thing is so undesireable to me right now, in the present, though. Really, I think the way we have it set up is a good preperation step, and as I said, neither of us will know what precisely we want until we get there. It's just a little nerve-wracking for people as close as we are. |
If you don't feel that you're able to date some how "casually" date, don't do it. You're not obligated to date if you don't want to. Yea, dating others could get you to heal A lot faster but you really shouldn't be obligated to do it.
You needa feel comfortable dating, if you're not over her, or even still have strong feelings for her I wouldn't really date. If I was in your shoes the only thing that I would worry about is her dating others, that's just something you're going to have to deal with, it was get better by time, of course. But you can't really dispose of such hard feelings so quickly. Good luck. |

It's like a cloud hanging over us, and it's because we perform a balancing act between how much we care for each other and our human desire to experiment with different situations and relationships. :-/ |
Oh, I know you haven't broken up, I'm just saying that if what you're saying happens...like you split up due to the distance, then you should date, but I wouldn't do it too soon. I know the distance between you next year will be huge but...I don't know, this is kind of a tough situation. She'll be far away and you'll have the need to experiment, go out on dates, communicate with other females, etc. when you move and start communicating with others, you'll have the need to go talk to others, a lot of things can lead to just talking.
I don't really know they best thing really for you. You're in a tough situation, sadly. |

Or if you feel like sex, or she does, then communicate the other such a thing. It'll be better than the temptation in both sides. The key here will be communication. If you're willing to be separated, you have to compromise with each other and not just being here and there fornicating here and there. Sure you'll need some human contact, (and viceversa, she might need male friends), and you will, that's inevitable. New country, new things, new experiences... So you have to make extra evident that you can date other peopl, but always telling her what happened and all that jazz. That's the romantic, unrealistic version of how things should be, but then again this is the real world. But truly, communication is the key factor in this. |
haha, that was a strange site. I think I was BassNewb42 or something.

Well, it's late and I'm off to bed. Good night everyone. |

Hey Jon, a bloke came through my register the other day, wearing an Obituary t-shirt.
I just finished and handed in an essay, as well as doing an exam. I'm so relieved, I feel really happy. |

Some idiots seem obsessed with burning up and down the streets near me, since the roads are wet from the rain. The amount of squeals I'm hearing suggest one or more of them will end up in a light pole.

Haha, I hate retards like that... they do that outside the LAN center I go to... they also do/sell coke and yell at 12 year olds telling them to stand up when they beat them in Counter Strike [another glimpse into my deepseated hatred for cokeheads]. My mommy didn't make me go to school afterall today, and as it turns out, all of my buddies (minus Kevin and James) didn't go on the class trip this weekend, so I do get to party afterall :D. I live on gravel, so I can burn out whenever I feel like it, which in turn, makes me never have any urge to do so. :) Plus, I have to pay for my own vehicle, so ruining my tires would put me out about 400 dollars. Oh, responsibility. Hello Sputnik. |
Meh, me fails. :)
Eh? Not at all, you were very insightful and helpful. I apologize for not responding directly before bed. :( Thanks. |
