King Missile - They

Shining - Grindstone
Eh. My brother sent it to me, and I'm not really sure why. Only one song I actually liked. |
SebastiAn - Smoking Kills EP
Ratatat - Classics Roisin Murphy - Ruby Blue Les Savy Fav - Inches M83 - Before The Dawn Heals Us |
Captain Beefheart - Clear Spot

Still digging the new Of Montreal a lot.
|
Frank Zappa - Jazz From Hell
This is really cool. It's kind of boring but "G-Spot Tornado" is one of Zappas finest moments. |
The Rolling Stones - Love You Live
The Misunderstood - Before the Dream Faded The Byrds - Mr. Tamborine Man |

Sonic Youth - Murray Street
Sonic Youth - 4 Tunna Brix Quite a contrast. Murray Street is probably in my top 4/5 SY albums. It's hard to judge SY albums though, since they can be so different and they all fu.cking rule (mostly). My favourite SY of the new millenium anyway. On the other hand, 4 Tunna Brix (Sonic Youth covering 4 songs by The Fall) is pretty awful. |
Their version of My New House is sweet what chu talkin bout
|
It's not bad I guess. I like Psycho Mafia most.
Its just weird hearing Thurston doing vocals you've heard Mark E Smith do. Quite different. Victoria is horrific, man. |
Eleventh Dream Day in general

Wilco - Being There
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible Hot Cross - Risk Revival |
Wipers - Is this Real?
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot |
Continuing the predominantly '60s rock/pop kick...
The Byrds - The Notorious Byrd Brothers The Zombies - Start Here The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed The Misunderstood - Before the Dream Faded |
How is Start Here?
|
It's okay, the group is still coming into their own at that point. Some really excellent tracks, but many of the songs aren't quite up to the complexity (musically and lyrically) level that they are on Odessey and Oracle. Worth hearing if you're a fan, but don't expect a forgotten masterpiece, by any means.

I love O&O so I'll give this one a chance. Thanks.

Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
Spank Rock Art Brut - Bang Bang Rock & Roll Nas - Stillmatic Cormega - The Realness Freddie Hubbard - Straight Life Hot Chip - The Warning Madvillain - Madvillainy The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes |
The Dismemberment Plan- Change
might actually be better than Emergency and I, it's got more of those spacey, nocturnal Minus the Bear-type songs. so of course I like it  |
Awesome album! I think I like it more then Emergency and I, as well. I've seen the drummer walking around in DC before :-D

Kiss Kiss - Reality Vs. The Optimist
