I'm listening to Gorod's Neurotripsticks for the first time

whilst it's certainly above average tech death what's really let me down is all of the chugga chug meshuggah riffing that isn't effective.
still it's an interesting band and i'm downloading more

yeah im liking leading vision more; less chugga chug and the two guitars are working a lot better together

I don't consider much of the chugging to be 'Meshuggah' like, really. What holds Neurotripsicks back, for me, is that a lot of the vocals come in at completely random and inappropriate times. The lyrics are hilarious though.

idk, it might've been on the review site, but i remember reading things about how horribly cheesy they are and how the guitar sounds like a 12 year old is playing it, so i never really checked them out.

i thought acid witch was terrible
