Wintermute...I have a small favor to ask. I'm running the noob comp, and we're going to have lots of polls that need to be up. What do you propose we do to keep from litering the forums with them? Do you think you should close them so they die after they're done?

I hope they have the bass I want to try there. For some reason I'm dying to play a 'Vette again...

Well, at any rate, as of now I'm in a pickle:

My next bass additions are definitely going to be a new Music Man, a GK head, an Avatar cab, and updating my Mexi J bass (badass bridge and barts for PUPs).

But for the MM, I don't know if I should get the Ray 5 or the Sterling. I like the Ray 5's tone and I want a 5 string, but I don't like the Ray 5's body (the pickguard aspect of it makes it look so cheesy), and I like the sleekness of the Sterling. They've both got the same tone and everything, so I'm caught between looks and feel.

:confused: Any suggestions, comments, or ideas? Much appreciated.

On my Conklin GT, I've found I don't use the low B. It sounds...evil? I guess.

I use my low B a reasonable amount, because I've been playing Sergeant Baker a lot, and it's a lot easier than zooming down the fretboard

At the current moment, I prefer 4 to 5, and even 7.

However, I plan to get a DWB35 one of these days. :cool:

meh, kinda ****ed my day up...

So i was gunna go round this girls house today (and planning to ask her out ;)) but i couldnt go round because her parents are both in mensa and they has some ppl from mensa visiting... And my mum wouldnt let her come round mine, then at 4pm she was saying its ok for her to come around. So she rings her friend up to get a lift but hes out and still hasnt gone back, so its going to be too late now :(
