it always makes the crowd go wild when they see people changing instruments :thumb:
If i were to switch instruments Ide go and sing. But I wish i could sing. Vocals are very important to me and singing is fun, but I suck at it. |
So? there are tons of really bad singers...it's not like you would be alone
|

Play something on guitar or bass when your home alone and just play it really loud where you can hear yourself but no one else can. It helps you be in tune and get it so your voice will stay in tune when singing. |

Yeah, I use to do that a lot but now i dunno, i dont sing that much anymore when I play. I play along with my radio. I sing parts of songs here and there but i mostly concentrate on my playing as I cant realy do both. |
i'm not necessarily strong in the vocals section, but it sounds better when i sing louder, i can get some good vibrato and people actually are like wow your a good singer lol. i can do jaymz's lil growl like perfectly, but then i start coughing after about 5 minutes lol.
have fun skating with yur girl tomorrow night joe, i had fun tonight :naughty: |
What's this about girls? I'm going dancing with my gal tommarow!
Maybe the DJ will through on some Tallica |
What's this about girls? I'm going dancing with my gal tommarow!
Maybe the DJ will through on some Tallica
ohh that reminds me, when we were skating i told the deejay to put on some metallica and he put on sad but true, which was fun to skate to...although my girly almost fell over cuz i was jiving on ice haha. brit, me and joe were talking earlier and i mentioned that i was going ice skating with my girly tonight and he said he was tomorrow night. metallica is fucking great to skate to heh |
I don't skate but I would imagine they would be. Like I said I'm dancing tommarow. I don't think they will have any Tallica though
|

lol, you'd be surprised. well, i guess it depends on what kind of dance it is. i went to this one chic's birthday party, she had rented out like a whole city center, and there were hundreds of people (yeah i have rich friends haha) and there was a huge dance floor with a deejay who was playing all this christian rock and some rap. so i went up there and i was like dude do you have any metallica or hard rock/heavy metal and he was like ahhh man a breath of fresh air! lol, so we got to rock out to most of the black album, mop and fuel, and alot of other great bands like gnr, ac/dc, zeppelin, and other stuff. metallica is such a great band to be crazy to lol |
good idea
Metallica should do a greatest hits album or set where fans can vote on their favorite songs to put on the cd's. A good way to stop recording without making an all new album that everybody hates.
|
Sadly the DJs that my school hires for our uhh..wtf is it called. I can't remember, but it's like, they rent a DJ and amusement park **** and put it in a field across the street during the last week of school. The DJs they hire suck, no Metallica or any metal at all. It's always Greenday or rap

Thta's the worst idea I've ever heard. Welcome to MX |

There isn't one metallica album, or any album in fact, that everybody hates. Metallica will do what they want to do, not what people want them to do. :thumb: |
yep, metallica runs their own tight shift, just barely hanging on to their band of the people image. they just kind of fool around nowadays and let their anger and spirit be healthy and free and in control lol, in their words.

Yeah that's the best way to do it. Let's face it no-one liked anything by tallica since re-load. I still wanna see the though. |

I think a greatest hits album would be horrible for Metallica. They have so many great songs, to put them all on one cd would be horrible. I would say their lesser known songs are better than their "hits" anyway. |

I cant say I agree. Hi  |
What's the point in making a greatest hits? people will always moan about how some song didn't get on but some crappier one did.
|
^^ Yeah, good point.
But if ever they did make one, what songs would you guys like to be on it ? |
Well
Metal Militia Motorbreath Whiplash Ride The Lightning Fade to Black Creeping Death Call of Ktulu Master of Puppets Orion Damage Inc. Blckened One Harvester of Sorrow To Live Is To Die and the rest is up to them. |

Like the Megadeth one. If I were to choose a Metallica greatest hits CD, it'd probably go like this... Hit The Lights Jump In The Fire The Four Horsemen Seek And Destroy Metal Militia Fight Fire With Fire Ride The Lighting Creeping Death Battery Master of Puppets Blackened One Dyers Eve Probably about it. |
Mine would be:
Ride The Lightning Creeping Death Master Of Puppets Orion Blackened AJFA Dyers Eve Disposable Heroes Call Of Ktutlu(sp?) Hit The Lights Four Horsemen Seek And Destroy Whiplash Dont think im missing any... |
I would have:
Blackened The Four Horsemen Seek & Destroy Battery Leper Messiah Orion One Creeping Death Fade To Black Disposable Heroes Nothing Else Matters Dyers Eve To Live Is To Die |
Personally, I think there'd be an awful lot more stuff from after AJFA then you guys are putting down.
The Four Horsemen Seek And Destroy For Whom The Bell Tolls Fade To Black Battery Master of Puppets Blackened One Enter Sandman Nothing Else Matters Until It Sleeps King Nothing Where The Wild Things Are Fuel (I hate that song, but it'd go on) St Anger The Unnamed Feeling That's a list with 2 from each album. Though I think I'd like to see I Disappear and No Leaf Clover on there too. :smash: |
AJFA has too much filler.
|
Yes, but Blackened and One are the only two deserving ones to go on a Greatest Hits. To Live Is To Die, possibly, only as a Cliff tribute. A last track or something. I don't think Dyer's Ever should go on, no matter how awesome it is.

Please cease use on the hammer smiley.
It is quite annoying. |
What exacly does it mean ?
|
I just don't think its Greatest Hits material. Like... Ktulu is an awesome song, as is Orion, as is TLITD. To put them all on would be overkill. or even two. Maybe even one is pushing it. Greatest Hits are the most accessible songs for the public in a lot of cases. Their main target audience ain't mainly established Metallica fans.
Oh, and... Gutted. :smash: |
Can't what?
See their greatest hits unless you meant all the albums are their greatest hits. |
Yea that's what I meant. LoL

it took me a while to get that.
You made me think on a weekend. |
Yea that's what I meant. LoL
I love all the albums
I find it impossible to love all of metallicas albums :P by the way anyone know roughly how many records metallica have sold i heard its about 85mil ..not sure , want to know just to prove a point to a mate of mine , cheers |
Yea I beleive it's about 90...anyway that doesn't really matter.
