Have you guys ever thought maybe there is a big name drummer on this forum... Mike Portnoy or Neil Peart for example, and they are using another username for a disguise? That would be cool...

I would be hilarious if Travis Barker was here. Maybe he is; maybe he's one of the people that always defends Barker.
Well, Andy Edwards posts here...

styler 03-11-2006 10:34 AM

man, last night was amazing for like everybody apparently. i had a professional rehearsal in a recording studio with my band, then we all went to dinner, then we bought 4 dozen eggs, and went to chav-town. used up all of our eggs, came home, spent the night doing nothing on graveyard. and then walking home with a extra large cup of hot chocolate.

i love life. now if i only i could find a gal :(

edit: honestly, i had never heard of andy edwards before the forums.

Jezen 03-11-2006 10:44 AM

Yeah I hadn't heard of Andy, but I had heard of Craig Blundell and he has been here.
Maybe one day Rodger Hempsall will come here. I wish...

Oh crud I may have to cancel/change my lesson with Rodger tomorrow, as I have a gig in Sunderland. I have a laminated card thing that says:

University of Sunderland

JAZZ FESTIVAL
Artists Pass
Sunday 12th March 06

Signed.................

Cool huh? Oh yeah and I will be hopefully picking up my Big Dog hat stand tomorrow.

EDIT: Can it get better? It does. I'm leaving in 15 mins to go see my girlfriend cheerleading. She's a Newcastle Viper Vixen!

styler 03-11-2006 10:46 AM

sweet bb. do you have any vids of any of your gigs. i just realised ive only seen your solo work.

Jezen 03-11-2006 10:47 AM

Only an orchestral one so far.

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=jezen

I don't know why my Pots and Pans video isn't showing on Google yet.

styler 03-11-2006 10:48 AM

that was quick bb. its been like a minute since i posted.

mind if i add your page to favourites? ive gotta go to bed. i worked graveyard last night. and im working it again tonight. so i need my sleep :(

Jezen 03-11-2006 10:50 AM

No objection here. :)

poppinfresh 03-11-2006 11:14 AM

hey pauly, nice job there. how do the mesh heads feel in comparsan to real heads. is it possilbe to play with them semi loose like toms wouldbe without damaging them, how close can you get them.

SkaRabbit 03-11-2006 11:55 AM

BB You will love the hat stand...it is such a monster.

Janeway 03-11-2006 11:55 AM

I can't decide which burritos I like better.
The $.89 Tina's from the gas station, or the slightly more expensive ones from Sam's club with actual beans and chicken product in them.
The Sam's club ones are spicier but don't go as good with hot sauce.
Hmm...

AND GOD CRAP!
Today is my last lesson, and I'm getting stuck doing jam sessions every saturday from now until May.

Frick.

Dream theater was amazing. Portnoy was really fun to watch. He would be playing, then toss one of his sticks 40 feet off to the side of the stage, somebody would catch it. Then he would throw it back to Portnoy and he caught it and kept playing. really cool.

Panopticon 03-11-2006 01:03 PM

sweet...im going to see DT on the 22nd of March...

fishbulb' 03-11-2006 01:06 PM

Where?

And they opened with the root of all evil, then i forgot what was with that set. The second set opened with as i am, then these walls, then eventually octavarium. The encore was a couple songs, the last being learning to live. Portnoy rocked.

Panopticon 03-11-2006 01:08 PM

Massey Hall in Toronto, Ontario...

Silly rabbit, stick tricks are for kids!

He should have spent his time coming up with new fills....

fishbulb' 03-11-2006 01:18 PM

It was fun watching him spit too. After a long fill and a stop in the music he would jump up while hitting the cymbals and spit over onto petrucci's amps.

Panopticon 03-11-2006 01:19 PM

yeah...lol...thats why petrucci got a spit shield:lol:

rockindrummer 03-11-2006 01:22 PM

Sounds like you had a great time fish.

I really hope tool comes through here for their new cd! I really want to see them live.

fishbulb' 03-11-2006 01:28 PM

I had a blast. I like his bonham setup on the side of his big one.

Loyton 03-11-2006 01:55 PM

Today is going to be such a good day, it snowed like a foot at my house, everything is TOTALLY white, Im gonna go on a hike, smoke a bowl, mabye a little dxm, and ****ing chill it too jam bands and eat chinese food.

Its so beautiful. C yea guys, im off for an adventure. Could have some live changing revelations.

rockindrummer 03-11-2006 02:09 PM

Sounds awsome loyton. Have a fun time.

It was snowing yesterday but then it got sunny and now there is not a trace of snow left. The weather has been really messed up lately.

Janeway 03-11-2006 03:02 PM

It snowed all of about 5 times this winter.
It's been snowless and clear for two and a half months, and now we're getting warm weather. We're probably going to open our pool next month.
I love it in may and june when I can get home from school and go flail around in the bath water pool.

Tyr 03-11-2006 03:13 PM

Lucky you. Here it's only been snowing 5 times this week  We've recieved about a metre of snow. Yay...

Janeway 03-11-2006 03:19 PM

I like Swedish meatballs.
Hoorah.

AND FRICK!
I'm failing four classes.
Crap.

fishbulb' 03-11-2006 03:26 PM

oh yeah, and James LaBrie said "Thanks for selling the mother-****er out!!" at the beginning of the show.

They also had an animated movie following all of the players as they played.

-TGP- 03-11-2006 03:26 PM

i was in a musicshop the other day..

7 Piece double bass Taye kit, so gnar.

also a 5 piece DW kit with Virgin bass drum in green sparkel.

They had Bigdog pedals there too, hated em.. but i liked the BD throne.

Tyr 03-11-2006 03:30 PM
I like Swedish meatballs.
I don't like meatballls at all, I never did. Of course, nowadays I'm a vegetarian, so now I don't need to explain why I don't like them.

Damn guys... I just got back, that was AMAZING. What an experince.... I came upon so many places Ive had reoccuring dreams about.

The trip took an hour and 35 minutes of me sprinting FULL SPEED totally totally cashed, in a foot and half of powder, plowing through bushs and rocks at full speed. Along to Mastodon, Arsis, System of a Downs older albums, tool, and alot of other stuff.

Im in such a good mood.
