I'm not, I just like power metal and a couple melo-death bands.

Name them, please? Just so I have an idea of what you listen to. The only bands I really know you like are CoB and (I think) Arsis.

As far as metal goes- Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest is as far as I go.

The two most "metal" albums I own are Black Sabbath and Tool.

Oh, yea I like those bands too. I somehow managed to forget the godfathers of metal.

Something wild is the best CoB album, I think. It's rawer and just better.

Oh, Dragonforce, Helloween, Symphony X (some say prog but they sound like power to me), Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Angra,etc.

I also don't like Stratovarius, and I think you're the first person I've known who doesn't just hate power metal in general, yet doesn't like them. So hurrah.
