Distant Echoes 02-05-2005 07:24 PM

What album should i get if i want to get the byrds...i dont think ive heard one song by them yet, or one that i knew they sung.

And what years were they around, I really know nothing about them

jpj 02-05-2005 07:26 PM

I believe they were late 60's, like somewhere between 66-69. I'm not sure what a good album is though.

Distant Echoes 02-05-2005 07:31 PM

whyd they break up so soon?

The Allman Brothers just cant compete in the polls with DSOTM. :upset:

DSOTM = most overated
Eat a Peach = most underated

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 02-05-2005 08:43 PM

Anybody up for some AIM tradin?

Badmoon 02-05-2005 08:46 PM

I'll give something off, if anyone wants anything.

Illmatic 02-05-2005 08:47 PM

Also, Hendrix fared poorly in his poll too, which sucks.

For my money, Are You Experienced? and Eat a Peach were the two best albums left.

Crosby made an off-hand political statement, so he was kicked out of the band. That's about all I know.

Nope. You were talking about the Byrds, and you asked how they broke up. You googled the answer and waited to see if someone knew it.

No, I didn't ask how they broke up. I believe it was Distant Echoes, and I googled the answer to Schyma's question.

Whatever! Stop spamming the thread. RnR will get all PMS on us.

Anyways, I've been wanting to get into Simon & Garfunkel, any album recommendations?

jpj 02-05-2005 09:09 PM

I believe Bridge Over Troubled Water is supposed to be good.
