Saw Brand New at a HMV superstore last week for free and got the Daisy cd signed by the band.

In class right now, working on an essay, seems pretty simple, already have the first page done, only been here for like 15 minutes. I think I have the flu. Kind of sucks.

I'm alright. Keeping ultra busy getting this thesis thing going, and publishing some articles in scientific journals and such. Recording in LA this weekend though and then going to NYC in a couple weeks for a conference with metal folks, so pretty excited for those. You?

Not too much, still working on this essay, it's coming along pretty easily. My band's practicing this weekend, and our guitarist supposedly recorded demo guitar tracks with programmed drums so that me and our drummer don't forget how the songs go, since we can rarely practice anymore (they both go to school in Philly, I go to school in Saucon).

I'm gonna try to get the dudes to record a really rough demo, because Andrew (drummer) and I's old bands recorded our best stuff in spurt of the moment situations (example being Masturbatory: [url]http://myspace.com/paraphiliasoontochange[/url]).

I was thinking about doing that but I like to have autographs of what era of their disco they were in when signed it. Plus Daisy is a good cd, just TDAG is much better.

Haha I know how that goes..I have the same issue when I leave for the summer. Then I came back and we had like 5 new songs half written by Justin (guitar/vocals) and Kyle (bassist) and I had to finish them up and know them perfectly in like a month for this recording...has been interesting.

I'm pretty excited for our new material, it's very Converge influenced grind with post-rock-y skramz interludes. Basically the perfect music for my vocal style, especially because I can actually sing now. :D
