I had such a kickass day, but my driving was so terrible
Hah, nice. Good soundtrack to that there Xanga, too. |
No...I write about a sentence every 5 minutes, it's workin' out lol.
Oh ok. That's surprisingly similar to how I work on essays. |

Yeah...I think it has something to do with my lack of motivation to do something due Wednesday this early, but I am trying to be responsible  |
Hah, nice. Good soundtrack to that there Xanga, too.
thanks Bartender. How's Leeds? |
It's pretty good, thanks, though the university seems to be built on one big hill, with the place I'm living in at the bottom, and CD-wise, it's completely devoid of decent metal :(
Got a good gig coming up towards the end of November though (Dismember, Anata, Psycroptic and some band called Sanatorium). |

I think all colleges are devoid of decent metal, it has something to do with rap being more popular and selling better. Check out the big CD shops off campus, they have a slightly better selection here at least. Lots of nice gigs come through here though, too bad I have no car :( |

There a death metal band according to the Metal Observer. I finally got a Triple XXX from Peavey, and with the combo of my Schecter C-1 XXX w/ the EMGs in it, I get a crunchy rhythm even on Crunch, and the ultra is perfect for Kreator and Testament. To say the least, the cleans on the Triple XXX are much better than any other amp except a Fender (since Fender amps PWN other amp clean channels). Overall, I'm borrowing this one as a token of apology from the dealer I ordered the head from since it is taking too long. I was going to ask if I can keep this combo in exchange instead of having to get the head and cab, in which I just found out according ot my dad would be overkil on our budget. I'm sure Rob would be nice enough to let us purchase this amp in place of the head, and he can keep the head on the floor for demo and display. |
zepfan - it's not just campus that has a lack of metal, I'm talking about the whole of Leeds. I've only found (and bought) one decently priced, worth-owning metal CD in my six weeks here, compared to thirty-odd non-metal CDs.
Ravenous - Good luck with all that :) I'm going to bed though, it's 4:14am, and I do need to sleep sometime. |
Heh, night bartender, that kinda really sucks though :p
