he is really fast, i will give him that. Some really fast feet and handwork, but in all honesty its not in the least bit technical, it just gets old sometimes i feel im hearing the same beat over and over again

Yeah he's a boring drummer with good technique. The drummer they had on Bloodlust and stuff before that was really good though.

the original line-up was just so ****ing elite, plus, anthony's vocals aren't over-distorted and dayton's drumming is elite.

I enjoyed Malice as well. As Good As Dead slays so hard.

malice was enjoyable, it just wears thin after a few listens, which is just like anything now days

Yeah I've heard of him he's the vocalist for a pretty good tech death band called Ontogeny. I'm seeing the Faceless on Saturday, I'll probly get a vid and post it on youtube.

Why does everyone keep discussing The Faceless in here? Imo they are more death metal than deathcore like TTEotD etc.

of course OM isn't deathcore

We discuss bands like The Faceless and TTEotD here because the death metal thread has a bunch of large bundle of sticks, plus there aren't many good deathcore bands to discuss anyways.
Pretty much this is a thread for death metal bands with breakdowns, no matter if they're core or not

So I checked out OM and have really like what I heard, and saw it being linked to Gorod and some other band. The other band turned out to be Psycroptic and they sound awesome too and they are aussie D:

I just got a Gorod album (Neurotripsticks) the other day and its [i]really[/i] good. I don't know why but I can't get into Psycroptic. One of the few tech death bands I don't like for whatever reason.

Get Leading Vision.

I don't have their first album but apparently Leading Vision is just waay better. Its one of my fav tech death.
