Ok. I got it. Thanks again.
Your font just copied the style of the link. |
I know and I don't know why either, I couldn't change it back either I hate the comcast toolbar. The EP is kind of weird like I don't really understand it because like the Junesong acoustic is exactly the same off the re-release of SSTB w.e it is cool.
|
Yeah, I figured about the Junesong. They probably put it on SSTB because it's hard to find.
|
Oh oh could someone please send me the link for that EP I would be ever greatful.

Okay, so. I just listened In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 for the first time yesterday. First C&C album. And wow. Man. Wow. I loved it, every second of it.
Before this I had heard A Favor House Atlantic and Blood Red Summer, which I thought were just okay. Much later, I heard Welcome Home and absolutely LOVED it. So I borrowed IKSOSE:3 from a friend and, to say the least, absolutely loved every minute of it. Perfect fusion of heavy pop-punk with the progressive rock awesomeness of bands like Rush (definitely a major influence). And wow, absolutely perfect. The title-track was amazing. Same with The Crowing, The Light in the Glass, basically every song. All if it just worked. Tomorrow I'm borrowing Good Apollo... from the same friend, and I can't wait to hear it. Also, I read a really great, detailed explanation of the albums' storylines. It covered the events of SSTB, IKSOSE:3, and some of the stuff that happened before. Really interesting, to say the least. |

Well if you don't like GA as much as you did on your first listen of IKSOSE then don't get dissapointed, just listen to it some more. Also when you said Rush was a major influence I'm guessing your saying Coheed and Cambria and Rush is definetly not a major influence of theirs, I know that it would seem like they are but Claudio had never heard of Rush until a little while back. They were interviewed about it and said that they had never heard of them.

EDIT: 1,666
You know the number of the Beast isn't 666 right? They found it was a mistranslation and the number is actually 616. |
Oh my, I forgot you were the almighty God. Ruler of the heavens. For I now will bow down to you, oh almighty one. The truth is only told by you, and all other opinions are now rendered invalid. Oh my wonderful God. Please have mercy upon my opinion and musical taste. :upset:
I own your soul. |
But seriously they're a good band I'm just trying to piss you off.
|
Kif I need you to get on so I can talk to you about this LOTR stuff.

I don't think he can hear you:p. |
He can't haha but that LOTR thing is so tight.
|
You know the number of the Beast isn't 666 right? They found it was a mistranslation and the number is actually 616.
I'm pretty sure that it is 666. 6 is one short of the "perfect" number 7. Thus symbolizing imperfection. The LotR thing is pretty cool. I tried it this morning. I didn't get all the way through though. One other thing I noticed was that during VCII, when Claudio sings "Misleading trust....", it's when Gandalf is first talking with Saruman. I had to stop right then though or I'd miss the bus. |
I didn't get that far haha.

He's right, it's 616. Religion class ++ |
He's right, it's 616.
Religion class ++
What's the 1 for then? |
What's the 1 for then?
I forget, It's been almost a year since I had religion. |
I haven't heard much of Co&Ca but The Suffering is such a great song.
|
Since DT isn't opening, is anyone else having problems with the forums?
I probably won't see this because I can't refresh the pages properly right now. EDIT: Nevermind. It's back. Stupid Computer. |
Better than Evil from the DT EP sounds like old school video game music.
|
I bought the first and most recent Co&Ca cd's yesterday. I'd already heard them quite a bit from mp3's, but having the physical copy just does something more for me.
Also, could someone send me the link to the EP (assuming that it's the DT EP)? My email is halfdeadhippo@hotmail.com |
I am finally back and I went to the kick a'ss Coheed And Cambria show 2 days ago. Oh my god was it majestic!!!!
|
I bet dude they are playing another show in Chicago with Fall Out Boy and The All American Rejects I think I am going to it!!
|
Funny thing happened to me on Sunday...
I was at my sisters soccer match and I was boping my head to IKSOSE3 on my iPod and my mom asked what I was listening to. I let her hear the song and she stole my iPod and wouldn't give it back. She says it reminds her of Rush and I can see why but come on! My Mom is in love with C&C!!! Ah! |
Someone earlier said it reminds them of Rush. My dad loves Rush. I should get him to listen to them and maybe he will start to like them and want their CDs. Then I can steal them from him.
|
Just buy them for yourself foo'
The cds are worth buying just so you can listen to them really really loud. |

Yah I want a a band t-shirt too... when I have the money. They are like 40 bucks right?
