I quite liked SOAD's Snowblind cover.
HIM suck and should be shot for covering Sabbath. |
i like slayer's hand of doom, much better tham HIM's
depressing fact #3 HIm started out as a sabbath tribute/cpver band |
refl.
Ville Valo is a fag. |
thats a bit harsh, true but harsh
my sister went to see them in newcastle |
refl.
Ville Valo is a fag.
 a dirty one...who proabably smells too :p |
HIM fail terribly at covering Blue Oyster Cult as well
|
I quite liked SOAD's Snowblind cover.
It was alright. I would have liked it better if they hadn't changed the intro riff. |
Probably.
*slaps with the Paranoid Sucks stick* :p
 Anyway, to the guy asking what CD to get, i'd say Symptom of The Universe, because it has a lot of their good popular songs on it. |

I could always get Josh to rape you with his swords if you did.
:naughty: I think something could be arranged. |
well im off now, good-bye folks
primus and ozzy's NIB is pretty good |
Yes, SotU is good. I wish I had the cash to buy more of their albums, but I dont right now.. So Symptoms of the Universe will have to do, for now.. Anyway, great collection, gives you a good taste of Ozzy era albums.

yea so how are the dvds
|
I havn't heard many good covers of sabbath songs. You just can't get the sound they had in the 70's anymore..
thats very true, bands have tried for years to get the sabbath sound and cant do it. |
yea so how are the dvds
The Last Supper - Excellent concert footage, excellent interviews Never Say Die - Its alright, not amazing though The Black Sabbath Story Vol.1 - Again its alright, nothing too special. The Black Sabbath Story Vol.2 - Alot worse than Vol.1, seems to have been rushed. Inside Black Sabbath - 1970 - 1992 - Its basicly the Sabbath story Vols 1 + 2 on one DVD with some added Tony Martin years footage. Good stuff. Out of that list, the ones to get are The Last Supper and Inside Black Sabbath 1970 - 1992. The rest are more of a hardcore fan's collection. Oh yeh.. I have all those DVD's :) |
god dang are you actually like tony in desguise?
|
sabbath is on the poll c
|
He is, and I'm trying to persuade him to do a featured artists on Osbourne era Sabbath.
Who thinks he should..? *hands up* |
i'd go for that
*hand raises* |
Screw you.
I'm Geezer, not Tony. I'm thinking about the Ozzy-era FA, I'll make a draft soon (probably tomorrow night) and get hold of Med. |
sorry geez
you've been sober 27 days not bad, but i make money every time you drink so its good for you not for me |
Hehe.
Smackin' |
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Lord Brummington again.
I owe ya some Andy. |

|
Well...
I had to vote for Bodom, just because the S/T Sabbath isn't really my choice, and IMO, Bodom has never made a bad cd. |
thanks for voteing blizzard though
|
Yup. :thumb:
|
but we shouldnt talk about ozzy solo
|
:naughty:
I think something could be arranged.
noo  , it'll hurt |

i voted blizzard, then powerslave - the s/t is good (from what ive heard on it) but powerslave (maiden) is one of my favourite albums.
