I have a serious question, 36 Crazyfists is metalcore, yes ? At least most of thier stuff seems to be a good blend of hardcore and metal, I don't know.

Anyway, why is there so much hate for them here? I think Brock is a hell of a vocalist/lyricist, and the music isn't bad.

I never really bothered giving them enough of a listen to remember. I heard like one song and was just bored out of my mind.

Go listen to "Bloodwork" and let me know what you think. That's my favorite song by them. The video sucks though.

Yeah, everything I've heard of them so far sounds like nu-metal/fauxcore stuff like Luti-Kriss... I really don't like them.

A Plea For Purging, All Shall Perish, The Human Abstract and War of Ages are the best "metalcore" bands out there right now, in my opinion.

I'm not saying ASP is purely melodeath, just that the style seems to be what they fall on the most, followed shortly by pseudo tech slam stuff.

All Shall Perish is American -core influenced death metal.

And 36 Crazyfists sure as hell isn't nu metal. They may not be metalcore, but the last time I checked, nu metal wasn't a blend of punk, metal, hardcore, and emo.

To me they don't really sound like punk, hardcore, or emo.

Thier second album is more metal than the other two. The new one especially has a lot of hardcore/punk influence.
