Oh. I suck. :upset:

Panopticon 03-11-2006 12:06 AM

yep...

Does wholedzep have msn?

Maggot Dream 03-11-2006 12:11 AM

Nah, I use AIM. It's been dead for me all day, very irritating.

Anyways, I gotta get to bed. I'm dead tired. 'Night.
Ha.
My sisters friend, the one who I kneed in the groin, got a big ticket because he's such a cheap ass. His truck is so loud you can hear it 3 miles away, and he refused to buy a new muffler, and he finally got pulled over for it. So, now the dumbfuck is going to go and buy a cheap $20 hunk of shizzite from Wal-Mart and he's going to get pulled over again.
Gah.
I agree, thats quite stupid, but I doubt he could get much of a ticket for it, those kinda things are rarely over 50 dollars.
A perfect 4th interval is frequently used.
yep thats what I use on my toms. The reso is tuned a P4 higher than the batter.

Basically, if you tune the top head to, say, a C (hypothetically), the bottom head would be tuned to an F.

TTTSNB 03-11-2006 12:17 AM

Ugh...man, had quite a night.

I played a show with the school band at a local community center, then we had to bring all of our stuff back, then we out to eat some breakfast for midnight snack at a diner.

Then....here's the story, it turned out that I really needed gas. So I stopped by a gas station right away, and it wouldn't accept my card, and I didn't have any money. So I went to three or so gas stations...same thing. So then, I drive with barely any gas left to a place 10 miles away, and I manage to use my atm card for that, but then it wouldn't pump because the place was closed.

So then, I drove around 4 miles or so to a place thats open 24 hours, the whole time I thought I was gonna run out.

Also it was after midnight the whole time, I'm not supposed to be driving then, and a cop literally drove past me when I was at a gas station. Haha, thankfully I look like I'm at least 18.

Poor TTTSNB. Cheer up and play your drums.
Poor TTTSNB. Cheer up and play your drums.
Heh, its no big deal now, was at the time though. I'd do that if it wasn't 1 in the morning. :)

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 12:28 AM

Ah yes, that does pose a problem.

Well I had a pretty alrite day. But I'm going on camp on Monday (Saturday right now) and I haven't fully packed. I'm not sure I want to go though, I get homesick. But I figure if I ever wanna travel (hell, or move out) the I've just gotta suck it up and get used to it.

Oh thats cool, and well, only go to camp if you want to. If you like it, just deal with the homesickness, otherwise there's no real point.

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 12:34 AM

Yeah, it should be fun. I miss out on a science test, an english assignment and some other school work (the camp is optional).

We get to go to the zoo, a farm and an ab-oh-twa (slaughter house). It's an agricultural camp.

Tim 03-11-2006 12:39 AM

I posted another review. On tama roadpro snare stand this time.

Ah, well missing school in generally is good, dunno if I'd like it though, hah.

Well I go to an ag school, so I'm used to it. It's pretty fun, we get to do things like milk cows, drench sheep, vaccinate them... It's cool. And the highlight of everything is year 10 - we stick our hands up cow asses to preg test.

Oh, alright. Hahaha...sticking your hand. Why the *** for a pregancy test?

rockindrummer 03-11-2006 12:51 AM

It's spring break, bitches!! I was waiting for this break for so long!

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 01:11 AM
Oh, alright. Hahaha...sticking your hand. Why the *** for a pregancy test?
You feel a vein. The more blood rushing through, the more pregnant the cow. The *** is just a more direct route to the vein, I suppose.

punkrocker2o1 03-11-2006 01:21 AM

I would hate to do that. :amaze: My spring break is next week

Any other suggestions for band names?

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 01:24 AM

Pick a funny word and make it funnier by adding a naughty word.

We don't get spring break. We have terms, 10 weeks of school and 2 weeks of holidays. 4 terms in a year and one Christmas break of 6 weeks.

6 week Christmas break!? Mine was only 1!
Tired. Good night!

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 01:33 AM

1?!?! That's pretty damn stingy.

But don't you get like a really long spring break?

rockindrummer 03-11-2006 01:38 AM

Yo sweet nothings do you have year round school?

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 01:50 AM

year round?

Corkofski 03-11-2006 02:00 AM

i get a 14 week summer break this year

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 02:03 AM

14 weeks?!?! That's... that's longer than a term for me!

But do you have other breaks in the year?

Corkofski 03-11-2006 02:08 AM

yea we get usually:
6 weeks summer, 1 week half term, 2/3 weeks christmas, 1 week half term, 2/3 weeks easter, 1 week half term, 6 weeks summer

but this year, im quitting school to go college, so adding up all the study leave and **** we get around 14 weeks!

milkmit 03-11-2006 02:26 AM

yayyyyyy!
had a "date" tonight. 3rd time her and I hung out. first one was awesome. second was kinda off because of miscommunicate/miscues crap, but was fun nonetheless. but tonight....just bloody awesome. ate some yummy food at a chinese noodle place, strolled thru central park, took the train down to union square and walked down to the lower east side to go to this cool bar I know. drank up, left, kissed (finally!), and then stopped for some veggie dogs at grif dogs on st marks. walked over to W4th and snuck into the closed playground to play on the swings and mcdonalds slide, and then called it a night. incredible time. she's just amazing.

and I know none of you care....but damnit it's 3:30am and I just got in, I'm excited, and I needed to tell someone!! :)

sweet_nothings 03-11-2006 02:33 AM

Hot damn.

I love my holidays. They're spent working and playing guitar and drums. It's a good life.

hey thanks! :) this whole "falling in like" thing is too rare for me, thanks to my absurd pickiness (as well as my contentness with being alone).....so when I actually do find someone I click with, and it actually does go somewhere....well damnit, I love it! :)

ok, I'll shut up now.

Corkofski 03-11-2006 02:39 AM

Corkofski 03-11-2006 02:47 AM

i got stupidly drunk, and my mate kicked me in the back and i passed out.

they took me in the bar and fed me water, then told me i could sit in a chair at the back to watch the gig or get iout

as it was, health and safety raided and we all got kicked out cos a fire door got stuck

Double Bass Jim 03-11-2006 02:55 AM

psychocream 03-11-2006 09:13 AM

Yer ur right

Pauly 03-11-2006 09:49 AM

What's that? You want to hear about my day? I think I can spare you a few minutes.

Where to start... well, I woke up a couple hours after the crack of the dawn. There was no sign of the crisp morning air, no dew on the grass.. only my neighbour crankin the angle grinder. It was off to the drum shop for me.

I went to buy some mesh heads for my DIY e-kit in progress. Sadly, they only had 2 mesh in stock so I had to put some on order. I'm so close to finishing and now I have to wait another week or two. Pics!

All that's left is sticking mesh heads on the rest of the kit and converting the cymbals into e-cymbals. I've converted one and I'm quite happy with it, just have to do the rest. I also have a guide in the works for those who are interested.

Ethan. 03-11-2006 10:18 AM

Have you guys ever thought maybe there is a big name drummer on this forum... Mike Portnoy or Neil Peart for example, and they are using another username for a disguise? That would be cool...

I would be hilarious if Travis Barker was here. Maybe he is; maybe he's one of the people that always defends Barker.

Jezen 03-11-2006 10:26 AM

Well Portnoy posts on online drum forums alot, but I think he sticks to his own..
