Nope, I'm a fair drummer, but nothing special, and I kind of gave up playing seriously when I realised I was a much better singer than drummer.

Drumming doesn't help much when It comes to songwriting unfortunately.

I'm thinking of doing that.
I play keyboards, and I want to compose a song some day purely based on theory.
and than after I finish composong I will play it, and see how it sounds.

It's possible, if you keep some theory in the bakco f your head, you can write an entire song without even hearing it.
