idk if i mentioned this before but i legit have OCD, i got diagnosed when i was 7 or 8 and got prescribed zoloft. the zoloft makes the ocd go away for the most part but i still have symptoms. it's not even 1/8 as bad as it used to be. i used to never be happy and always be anxious cause i always worried about things and felt compelled to do rituals even though i knew it wasn't logical or necesarry. i went through a lot of different phases: washing hands repeatedly, counting words in a sentence, counting steps, touching things a certain way, tapping my fingers in integers of four. it's a really bizarre disorder. my psychiatrist told me that they think OCD is caused by an inbalance of serotonin in the brain and what the Seletive Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors do is adjust that. what sucks is i've been taking zoloft so long that if i don't take it for whatever reason i have horrible physical withdrawals and start panicking. the withdrawals from zoloft are 5x as bad as opiate withdrawals. i can't stop taking the meds either cause if i stop and my ocd comes back, the zoloft may not work in the same way after getting out of my system and may not treat my OCD.

tl;dr version: I have OCD and take zoloft for it. it takes away most of the symptoms but i'm going to have to take it the rest of my life

jon the fact you described an asshole as a "precious little asshole" creeps me the fuck out

yeah i have OCD too, i do a lot of things like that also. i was taking zoloft for a few years but i stopped because some of my worse compulsions had gone away. i think the biggest thing that it does to me is my taste in food - i'm afraid to eat food that has a lot of different things mixed together, i dont even like having multiple types of food on the same plate. it stops me from eating a lot of stuff which really sucks.

yeah i'm kind of weird about food too. ocd sucks major dick man. the worst part is you know it's totally illogical but you just get such bad anxiety if you don't do it. it's annoying when people i like "oh i have ocd too! i do this one little thing that doesn't "interfere with my life" (that's not a mocking thing about you mitch) i have met a lot of people that say that, that just do like one thing and don't really have it. i had no clue you had it mitch. were you bad off before the zoloft?

Nepenthe 01-16-2011 11:21 PM

i like where the left thumbstick is on the 360 controller more. and the grips are like more rounded.
how much you guys pay for a 16th of heroin
the heroin i got was always in tenths of a gram, almost always a bag of powdered heroin. the most common ones i got were $20 for the double sealed, stamped bags with logos. then there was some powder that just came in a sack and was $10 a tenth. then i've gotten black tar in baloons which is usually about $10 a balloon.

Majesty 01-16-2011 11:23 PM
