I'm very upset. Click the link.
Closed! That sucks.

You should get the Yardbirds album, I've never heard any of their albums (and only a couple songs) so I'm interested to hear your opinion on their album.

Illmatic 04-22-2005 07:00 PM
What songs have you heard? I've got some really good ones.
I have heard all of the album Machine Head.
I was mostly hoping to get a conversation going.
Wicked new avatar man.

So, I might buy Bruce Springsteen's Born In The U.S.A. tomorrow, because it has Born In The U.S.A. and Dancing In The Dark on it. Anyone else have it?
Ok, I'm posting my wanted list just to get any feedback.

1. The Kinks- Muswell Hillbillies
2. Bob Marley- Songs of Freedom
3. The Animals- Greatest Hits
4. Mike Oldfield- Ommadawn
5. James Gang- Yer’ Album
6. The Yardbirds- Roger the Engineer
7. Simon & Garfunkel- Greatest Hits
8. Jefferson Airplane-Volunteers
9. Robert Johnson- King of the Delta Blues Singers
10. The Stooges- Fun House
ive got simon and garfunkels greatest hits, the animals - retrospective, and fun house. if you want them you can im me.

deep purple have better albums than machine head. i personally love burn, especially the title track. in rock is better as well. bananas is ok, i really like steve morse but hes not as long, primal solo oriented as blackmore. still, cant go wrong with a guy who was named best guitarist in the world like 6 times in a row.

lunch998 04-22-2005 10:19 PM

I have Muswell Hillbillies and Volunteers. I could send them to you sometime, unless you really want to have the actual album.

Heres part of my list:
Country Joe and The Fish - Electric Music for the Mind and Body
The Doors - Strange Days
Spirit - S/t, The Family That Plays Together
Santana - Abraxes
Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water
The Band - S/t(Brown Album)
Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man, Sunshine Superman
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
Widespread Panic - Space Wrangler
The Byrds - Sweetheart of the Rodeo.

magicbus 04-22-2005 10:38 PM

So what are the thoughts on Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars? Obviously Ziggy Stardust is one of the coolest songs e'er, but this album is really sweet so far also. Anybody else like it?

Also, what songs are on Quadrophenia (specifically the one with "love, lay it on me" or something like that)?

Its snowing, but not sticking, here. It sucks, especially when it was 80 last weekend. :upset:

Listening to Moonage Daydream by David Bowie. Cool dude.

Ulysses 04-23-2005 11:42 AM

I have Bridge over Troubled Water, Electric Music for the Mind and Body, Abraxas, Strange Days and Blonde on Blonde in my record collection and they are all in my opinion great recordings, It was hard to obtain Electric Music for the Mind and Body initially but I got it imported from overseas eventually.
