I really would like it if they would let Rob (their new bassist.) have a hand in the song writting process, I think he's way more competant then Jason.

and yeah as far as an instrumental goes, I honestly think they shouldnt do it, a song like orion or ktulu, especially orion, is just plain impossible to beat, orion is just a complete masterpiece.

I would actually like to hear some instrumental stuff, even if it's not the wsame level of Orion. James really can't sing as well as he used to, but I'd like some songs with lyrics too.

IMO James can't sing as well as he used to, but he's still not bad. i would like at least one instrumental on the next album, and if they let Rob write some of the album there should be some good bass riffs.

I think they did get rid of bob. And why try to beat past masterpeices? As long as its a good song(even though orion is the best instrumental ever) it can still work

So I checked out the site but it only contained mp3's of all Metallica's concerts that they have recorded.

While this was going on, people have been talking about Saint Anger and what they want from the next Metallica album and maybe future albums.

Nah it's the truth, they really don't. I think it's the whole down tune(ness) just doesn't sound like the original.

I think the reason that they sound like covers is because they play them in Eb.

and lack of good bootleg from recent tour. the only good songs i have of recent tours is sydney big day out show and a welcome home version from zaragova or something lol
