Are you talking about the concept of Remedy Lane or Be? I haven't paid much attention to lyrics, because the music has enthralled me too much.
The other stuff you showed me was meh, but I really dig the full band arrangements. But thanks for the recommendation. Undertow is my favorite song and one of the best new songs I've heard in a very long time.
I was talking about the concept for Be. I haven't read into the concept for Remedy Lane yet. |

I read Med's review for Be in which he explained the concept and it sounds really interesting. I'm actually deciding between Tortoise's Millions Now Living Will Never Die and PoS's Be as my next album to buy. |
Converted!

Also if you end up getting Be, would you be interested in sending it to me? |
Also if you end up getting Be, would you be interested in sending it to me?
Of course. I have fifty dollars to spend, and I'm trying to balance it between CDs and DVDs. I just bough Blue Velvet on DVD for $15, and I'm trying to decide how to spend the remaing $35. |
You should. It's well worth it. I still have the link that Moses sent me for Remedy Lane if you want me to pass it on to you.
bigfatf @ gmail.com (without the spaces hehe) :) edit: wow, fast response |
Well, Mr. Expert of German and Tool, maybe there's cheering and applause because the cheering/applause has no relation to anything they're saying. As has already been said in this thread, one interpretation of the song is that it's a display of how everything is not always as it seems: the song strongly resembles Hitler's Nazi rallys, and they might have made the song knowing that a lot of people will hear it and think it's incredibly menacing and scary, yet it's merely a recipe for cookies.
All that said, my original point stands, that being that this thread is apparently about "Tool's balls." |
And I'm pretty sure absolutley no one challenged you on that. When we came up with the name that's what we said it means. It's a joke, get over it.
|
All that said, my original point stands, that being that this thread is apparently about "Tool's balls."
ultimately the down fall of this thread is the inability to let stupid sh!t go, and people like you questing for that validation that means nothing. |
omg... i haven't listened to tool for so long time... and just now i listen to laterualus... schism... my ****ing god i forgot how great they are :thumb:
|
Yeah, I haven't been listening to them for a while.
Basically because I want to hear the new album. |
Yeah, I haven't been listening to them for a while.

-pauses DJ Tiesto-
Tool who? -puts DJ Tiesto back on- -dances- |
That happy birthday update basically messes everyones logic up  Since Salma does not "Dance" on weekends etc.

The January (and november) newsletter is up! It's quite interesting this time actually. Or at least I thought so. Seems like Blair is actually trying to tell us something useful or important for once. Of course, nothing is clear or straightforward on there. Seems like we have to decode a bunch of stuff. But hey, something is something.

We're all just hibernating until spring when the new album comes out :p |
The newsletters are pretty interesting. Blair is giving us clues with the ouiji board Q & A (see Toolnavy.com if you cant see it on the jan. newsletter).
|
I've stopped reading Blair's newsletters, they never say anything really.
