So you're not going to Rutgers?

Why? I tried explaining the whole thing to them for some reason because my mom said she knew some people at her work who were edge. And when I explained what it was, she took it as I was edge. So at Thanksgiving she's all "Want some wine Chris? OH WAIT, your straight edge." Then when I got caught drinking they were like "What happened to straight edge?"
And then she called you a sellout, jumped up on the dinner table with a microphone and Champion appeared behind her and played "The Decline".

CONNER_NWHC 07-08-2005 05:30 PM

lmfao

Chris you're not straight edge?
punker just started death therapy.
(Someone's been stalking me on the B9er)

It's a pretty good album from the one time I've listened so far. As for your comment before hand: there are a myriad of hardcore bands out there. I can't know about every single one.

40 oz 2 freedom 07-08-2005 06:21 PM

I just said that because they were all talking about their therapy.

young, loud and andrew 07-08-2005 06:22 PM

No worries, dude. I was just joking around.

40 oz 2 freedom 07-08-2005 06:42 PM

How old are you punker?

young, loud and andrew 07-08-2005 07:29 PM

18. I'll be 19 in November.

I just finished year one of hardcore and it's been a f.ucking blast.

RouteOne 07-08-2005 07:30 PM

So, I'm recording a solo hardcore album. :p

Yup, i'm going to record drums, guitars, bass, vox and samples. All of it.

My one man band is called "In times of desparation".

I'll post my songs when I get done with them.

EDIT: I'm also doing a cover of "in time" by all else failed. I really look forward to doing that.

serously hardcore is the best, if you dont fit in anywhere else you can be accepted in hardcore. I've made so many new friends that i acctualy have stuff in common with.

Truth+++

Hardcore is about bortherhood. Everyone into hardcore are very accepting of other people who want to be a part of it. But yeah, don't join a crew. Crews are ruining hardcore.

Chris you're not straight edge?
Well I wasn't...

But this very second, I will claim edge just for you.

It's not that I don't fit in anywhere, because I do drink/blaze and I do go out and party with friends. However, music > partying any day of the week, and I'd rather see a great show than get wasted.

I can't explain it, but it's just the best feeling in the world. I'm sure you all share it with me.

Oh yeah: Bold, Triple Threat, Inhuman, Vision tomorrow. Anyone have anything good to say about Vision? I don't think I've ever heard them.

They've been around since the early stages of hardcore, so I wouldn't say they're ruining it.

Blackliste/Cast Aside/Down to Nothing tour dates. No show here, but Blacklisteds record release is a week later and DTN are playing the 25th.

I should have said, they are ruining shows. Every show I go to, a crew starts meaningless fights with other people who even look at them weird.

Ok that's good news. Tomorrow should be a great show. There aren't going to be many kids though because Kill Your Idols is playing Brooklyn at the same time.

BuddyBigsby 07-08-2005 08:40 PM

Hah.

I saw Kill Your Idols play to about 10 kids a couple months ago.
