Come on it hasn't been this good since 2001 and earlier. Coalesce, Cave In, BBTS, a possible awesome converge record, Architects....am I missing something?

Nah you're right it's been an amazing year for the genre.

If you count BTBAM as metalcore, their album will be good.

That came out in 2008 and it sucked.

Actually, Colors came out in 2007, Colors Live came out in 2008, and they have a new album coming out in OCt.

Lulz, I thought you meant BMTH, my bad.

But I'm sure the new BTBAM album will be as mediocre and boring as Colors.

their first album is kinda cool, the only thing i really like off rareform is cursing akenaten because it was so epic live

i thought they were amazing the first time i saw them and just good the second time at summer slaughter. both were with the new singer.

I saw them with the old singer at the first Thrash And Burn I think it was. Nobody moved the whole time and all they played were Meshuggahjuns.

yeah, there's been a lot of meshuggah worship the past couple of years with atb, veil of maya, born of osiris, etc. i kind of forgot about veil of maya, i'll probably give them a re-listen soon.

I didn't like the second half of it at first, but I def dig it now. Band is much higher caliber than BOO and ATM.

What does the Faceless have to do with metalcore? They have a few good songs, but they're ****ing gay most of the time. They have like Between The Buried And Me syndrome, it's like, "this song is good... oh wow, that part just ruined the song."
