I'm sorry.
We'll see. I've only heard 4 songs, the ones on their website. They weren't terrible, but they weren't exactly good.

The opening band are an "emo" band who are apparently awful. That should be fun :)

Tangy zizzle 01-12-2006 08:16 PM

Go into the pit with a lit cigarette in each hand and just burn arms baby.

Then swing punches at hXc kids.

pixiesfanyo 01-12-2006 08:18 PM

Rufio is a talented band. Well at least they use to be?

Wanker 01-12-2006 08:27 PM

Strange question, but would anyone have qualms about calling fives in an orgy?

Tangy zizzle 01-12-2006 08:30 PM

bahahahahahahaha

... what?

Forest_Fire 01-12-2006 09:22 PM

Anyone heard of Ayin? I know they've toured a few times, and they're hella good. Check them out if you can, or if they play near you.

YDload 01-12-2006 10:00 PM

okay you can all stop worrying, i found out how awesome Dinosaur Jr. is already. i like "Thumb" especially :)

Kyle 01-13-2006 07:07 AM

^That's a good song.

I came home from sixth form ill.....not good, I have exams next week.

br3ad_man 01-13-2006 08:07 AM

Rufio were awesome. I totally expected them to be meh and they were good.

Their guitarist dude is a badass asian.

Wanker 01-13-2006 08:20 AM
... what?
You know when you're sitting down at a party an you gotta get up to go piss, you call "fives" (short for five minutes) on your seat so no one takes it before you get back.

But yeah, that definition in an orgy setting.

br3ad_man 01-13-2006 08:29 AM

So I want to review something and give it a bad rating for a change. Any suggestions?

JonM 01-13-2006 11:59 AM

Last night, I think a police car I'd been evading without realizing it caught up to my car and took down my tag number after I'd already escaped inside the house with lots of things I wouldn't want a cop catching me with. Aren't I hardcore? I might have completely imagined the thing, too.

fuck tha' police.

Sooooo I will be hanging out with the boy tonight. Things have been kindof odd betwen he and I lately, and I havent talked to him since Tuesday, so I think tonight is either going to go really good or really bad. bleh. :/

The NPC 01-13-2006 12:57 PM

Ah, Friday.

What a good day.

JonM 01-13-2006 03:22 PM

I'm not looking forward to going back to a schedule where it matters what day of the week it is. I'm such a spoiled brat.

br3ad_man 01-13-2006 05:52 PM
Harry & The Potters. They're my new 'band I wanna suffocate'.
I'll be sure to check them out.

I have to work today and tomorrow. Lame.

Interstate 01-13-2006 05:58 PM

I was supposed to be going to my friends party today but this week has gone sooo slowly and I'm exhausted. He's told his friends to invite their friends and people their friends know etc etc.

His house is gonna get trashed so bad.

ATM 01-13-2006 05:58 PM

Whoever mention Gish in that Smashing Pumpkins thread, thank you.

Interstate 01-13-2006 06:02 PM

Can someone recommend the most accessible/best album from Ted Leo & The Pharmacists please? I've been wanting to get into them forever and I'm just gonna go ahead and buy an album. ( Or possibly download if my internet decides to actually download at broadband speed)

My personal favorite is Heart of Oaks, but all of them are good and pretty accesible.

Friday is a good day. I'm going to another one of my local shows tonight, but it's not a ska show ( :upset: )

Happymeal 01-13-2006 06:08 PM

I have Shake the Sheets and Hearts of Oak and they're both great.. but I'd really recommend getting the latter.

I'll try and download that one then seeing as it seems to be the most popular. Thanks.

Don't ever say Ska again.

That music must be destroyed.
