Has anybody heard this? One of my favorite releases of the year so far.

Los Campesinos!
They only have like 6 songs that I can listen to, but i'm obcessed with them all. This band is gonna be big.

What kind of music is it? I saw it on a blog, but I couldn't listen to samples anywhere.

Are you talking about The Ponys?

If so, then I keep connecting it to the Lilys record from last year so I guess they're quite similar. There's definate Sonic Youth influence in there aswell.

I don't really know those bands either. :\

Ok here's the deal, just listen....it takes a few tracks to really get good though.

I have. Not a fan of their past two albums, but that one is definitely worthwhile.

What do you like about that album? I think they tie EITS for the most generic post-X ever.

like some of the songs are pretty good

but the last like five tracks are lame save Murder By Numbers

i've heard them all at cvs far too many times

and theyre not fantastic to begin with
