I got FruityLoops off of LimeWire. Can someone explain what Drumkit From Hell does?

Also, I have to agree that Alex is the most European American I have ever met.

Aaaand, I wish he would log onto MSN more often. :(

Ok, so last night I had a great time, people. My girlfriend and I went to the local show (you people would call it a fairground), and we were determined to have a good time despite the freezing weather and torrential rain.

So, we started out looking at all the exhibits (pottery, craft, horticulture, art) and ended up being shocked at the photography results. My girlfriend competed in the 15-19 years catergory, and the rules stipulate it must be an unaltered photo of any subject. Well, she got third for the photo of me shirtless, but the winner (and 2nd place winner) was one Johnathon Beecham, who had two of the shittiest, digitally altered (it looks like the guy was using photoshop for the first time, with his eyes closed, and then took a dump on the final product) photos I have ever seen. They were printed out on normal paper, so looked even shittier in comparison to the other photos.

However, a little research shows me that Johnathon (and his sister Mary, who incidentally took all the honours in her section of 14 and under, with some equally crap photos) are the new Show President's (Mark Beecham) children. Looks like the judges wanted to curry favour with him, and thus keep their cushy payed work.

However, the rest of our night was excellent. We watched the wood-chopping, the equestrian events, the pole-climbing, and a rather annoying clown. We also had a "bomb threat", where a lady sitting to my right stood up and left, leaving a rather large bag behind. A concerned citizen must have glanced at it also, and rushed off to the police, who returned, called in the "bomb", failed to clear the area, and then opened it up to reveal..... clothes! :)

We also went to the Animal Farm, petted the Alpacas, Camels, Longhorns and even the cutest litter of puppies you have ever seen.

After that, we decided to head home, since it was raining like the heavens were flooded. We're planning on going on the rides tonight.

Oh, and the food was great. I ate chips, hot dogs, hot cinammon donuts, peanut and honeycomb brittle, fresh lemonade... wonderful. :D

Sounds like loads o' fun, Riva. Did they have one of those giant yellow slides there? I love those. :thumb:

Darn, now I want hot cinnamon donuts.

Well, these days I'm usually asleep when you're on. I quit my job at Target, so I'm back to getting up in the mornings once more.

Yep, a long 20m one.

And I'm getting more of those donuts, they were the best.
Riva - sounds like fun. I love spending time with my boyfriend at things like that. It's nice.

What's up with everyone? And where the hell is Ray? I haven't talked to him in like 5 days.
I hate you, I want to see NIN so bad :upset:

It's basically the most realistic sounding drum kit program. The only thing I can complain about is the kick doesn't have enough oomph but you can use some of the other packs on there to fix that. It goes along with Fruity Loops.

Also I need to whore my thread:

I feel like such a stranger here.

I won't have to use drum programs anymore very soon here, as we're moving to a new house and building a studio in the basement :D

Refl!

I cut my finger, more so my fingernail on my bikes foot peg, now it's hard to type. It ripped off half of my fingernail, what a way to start off a promising week end. :shakes fist: :\

Hah...touche.

It's so cool, like we're putting up sound proofing and buying a ton of nice top-level recording stuff...

I want to be a sound engineer and my brother wants to be a pro bass player, so it will be used a lot :)

Moses 07-21-2005 11:13 PM

That's really awesome, if I had money I'd be well on my way to having a studio in my basement.

Permanent Solution 07-21-2005 11:30 PM

Yeah...My brother is paying for most of it since I have to pay for college :-\

The cool thing is my parents agreed to move so we could do it. We couldn't build one in our current house.

So last night I opened all of my Beatles playlists and set them to shufle and repeat. I went to bed, and left my computer on all night, and well into the morning. After checking my Audioscrobbler, I see that Pink Floyd is at 512, and The Beatles at about 370. Later, when I checked it again, the Beatles jumped to 523, taking the lead by 5!

That means I listened to 150 Beatles songs last night while I was sleeping.

/good story

I can listen to a song while sleeping, then recognize it later on after only hearing it that once. It's so crazy how your brain works.

Kingofdudes 07-21-2005 11:42 PM

I listen to weird stuff when I sleep. A lot of wintersun and Solefald lately.

That happens to me alot. :\

I always fall asleep with a few songs set on repeat, then it messes up my scrobbler, oh well.

Is it going to be in Denver or what?

Permanent Solution 07-21-2005 11:58 PM
Is it going to be in Denver or what?
It's in Castle Rock, which is about 30 minutes south of where we currently live (in Denver's suburbs), so it's a little bit out there...but it's twice the size of our current house, so it's a trade off.

Sup Vince?

I just saw Willy Wonka with a friend of mine who I met in Norway.

My friend invited me to see his band play on the 4th. He said they are grindcore. I have no clue what to expect.

KingofDudes: Are Wintersun the stoner rock band? I think I downloaded one of their songs tonight.

I think your user title added to that misread *shifty*

ATM 07-22-2005 12:23 AM

If you really want to call me slut, feel free.

What's new with you, man?

Permanent Solution 07-22-2005 12:25 AM

I'll consider that ;)

Well, as mentioned above, I'm moving come August (right before I go back to school hah), other than that, I've just been working mostly. Went to Seattle last week for some family stuff, it was pretty fun. You?
