A gamer is anyone who plays games. It doesnt' have anything to do with being socially inept you're just acting like your preconceived bias is a fact. I don't think I've ever used that word to describe myself before now but to me it's anyone who enjoye video games

That's an interesting take. By that definition, I'm not a "gamer" because I don't define myself through videogames. They're one of my hobbies and I love to play them but I have other interests I'm equally passionate about. I don't know why I used the term to begin with it sounds really lame.
