The name of the first song there is Duel of the Fates.

SW episode I ftw.

team_racket 08-07-2007 01:52 PM

the most memorable thing about the film.

cobert 08-07-2007 01:58 PM

The song, or that sick ass lightsaber fight?

santi3hg 08-07-2007 02:04 PM

Song.

team_racket 08-07-2007 02:06 PM

action going with it was ok. the music theme gets in your head and refuses to leave.

cobert 08-07-2007 02:09 PM

I agree about the music. I still think Episode I was a good movie (minus jar jar, and young anakins actor pissed me off).

team_racket 08-07-2007 02:10 PM

me too. i was young at the time and enjoyed it lots. 2 was truly awful.

cobert 08-07-2007 02:11 PM

I agree with you there too. Ive tried wiping that one from my mind. Episode III was pretty raddd though.

team_racket 08-07-2007 02:14 PM

the bit in 2 where anakin goes on a sand people killing spree. some of the worst acting ever commited to film ever, when he goes 'I SLAUGHTERED THEM ALL LIKE ANIMALS! THE WOMEN AND THE CHILDREN TOO.' etc.

santi3hg 08-07-2007 02:17 PM

Seriously that **** sucked. I hated the actor.

Speaking of theme music, who here played Chrono Trigger?

cobert 08-07-2007 02:18 PM

team_racket 08-07-2007 02:23 PM

so emotional. how the mighty future darth vader could be portrayed as a stroppy teen is so utterly piss poor.

santi3hg 08-07-2007 02:24 PM

Lawl. Well Darth was pretty monotone till the helmet came off.

Converge#12 08-07-2007 03:16 PM

santi3hg 08-07-2007 03:58 PM

Yes it does. You can find it in the FAQS on the slsk site.

that nooooooooo killed it

**** george lucas why did you need to make another three films just to get moar money to buy moar cheeseburgers to feed your gigantic belly ugh

cbmartinez 08-08-2007 08:01 PM

Yeah dude, the fire song is so good especially because the way they were talking about this album made it sound like it was gonna be a lot more out there, mellow and like wannabe indie. But the fire song made me so happy to hear that there's still a soft spot in their hearts for heavy music and screaming. Even though it hasn't some out yet, I know it's gonna be so hard to decide what is better: the new album or vheissu. The new stuff is incredible and Vheissu definitely changed my life. It's just a matter of whether or not they get too heady on the new stuff. Vheissu was the perfect mix of experimentation without losing focus on what they wanted to do/their traditional sound. If you stick to your traditional sound, the album feels underwhelming. If you experiment too much, the album gets lost and feels confused. Vheissu was perfect.

I'm also really happy that they're not pulling a Sparta with all their blogs about how they were using brushes and experimental stuff and they came out with some radio rock wannabe Radiohead album.

s'hitty recordings, barely audible vocals...

this isn't madness... this is EMOOOOOOOOOOOO

iamrockzorz 08-09-2007 02:25 PM

Gallows were fcking insane at warped tour yesterday. They stole the show in my opinion. The fcking singer started the set from the middle of the circle pit, swinging around the mic stand like a goddam battle axe and hittin himself in the face with the mic until he started bleeding. It was intense.

santi3hg 08-09-2007 05:31 PM

Dude, whats the name of the dude who killed himself because his bandmates told him so. You should know this, black metal band.

iamrockzorz 08-09-2007 07:27 PM
Sounds like a retard to me.
