I'm not ashamed of the music I listen to, I just don't like explaining to someone whos musical doesn't go beyond Nickelback things about music.

Yea my friend listens to them. There was another one called Gut I think. Probably the most unreasonable music I've ever listened to. The vocals are really down tuned etc. so basically you can't understand ****. But it's about pr0n.

Yea I know what you mean I just tell people I'm listening to rock or metal. Some people are like : Eww metal how can you listen to that stuff? He sounds like the devil! etc.. So yea it's a good exit strategy.

Dude your avatar is awesome. I'm not a big fan of Sunn O))) but I like the project they did with Boris. Glad they included some lyrics. The sinking bell is really soothing and at the same time depressing. The only song I HATE is the one (I can't remember its name I can tell you when I get back home) where they play basically 3 chords. I watched the live version on youtube and the bassist made a mistake.. and we were like.. come on..

i just don't like talking about music with friends at all though, well there's one who's more open minded. but the others are like "yea linkin park and disturbed rules" "no one can play better than slash!! i'm gonna say happy bday on his myspace today!" "muse has the bestest song writing ever".

I have like umm too friend groups lets say I'm hanging out with(one at uni, other is old/highschool friends) my older friends are all metalheads, thankfully. BUT in that other group there's this one guy who thinks HIM is the best band... ****ing HIM. And they are like the most closed minded dudes ever.

haha, i'm getting this one guy into Opeth, he thinks i'm some sort of metalhead god. i don't look like one at all though and not many people know i listen to death metal and stuff. there are a few people who think they are metalheads but they aren't at all.
