BY the looks of things, no. Only one casualty, and they think the bombs were actually only percussion caps, but it's still locked up london.
|
I know, i only know about it because of The Pit. But thankfully i don't think anyone was killed.
Once again, sorry about the non-posting, i joined a crew with some Germans on MxO, and we kick major butt. |
fuck, it absolutely sucks when parents set time limits as far as computer is concerned. She's 16 for god's (whose?!) sake!
I know. It's pretty annoying.
http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8791936&postcount=23539 Also, my MSN is jasonhellmuth@hotmail.com. I'll edit that off when I get home.
Thanks for the songs! :thumb: Might I say that your girlfriend is indeed very beautiful and you're pictures were very nice indeed. |
Computer Question
I'm about to have my HD formatted since it's full of bugs, crashes twice a day and in general doesnt work properly (I've tried to cleanse it, wasted 83 euros but nothing happened!). I've saved my mp3s in CD-Rs and I was wondering whether there is possibility for them to be infected and infect my formatted system... |
Hmm. I think your best bet would be to get an antivirus thing and scan it before you imput the files into your new computer. Just putting the cd into the computer shouldn't do anything even if they are infected.

I hope so, according to my AV my mp3s are alright. I'm fed up with formatting twice a year :upset: |
Twice a year? Goddamn...

Why does everyone think wireless modems are so great? They're abominably unreliable!
Mine is still disconnecting every other minute for no discernible reason. |
When I had internet on my computer (which I wish I still did), I had dial up. Oddly, it was ok. I only got logged off every once and a while. My parent's computer has broadband. :thumb:
|
My wireless modem has yet to bug out. I guess I'm lucky!
My wireless modem has yet to bug out. I guess I'm lucky!
Bastard. Mine's due to black out in about another 30 seconds. |
Bastard. Mine's due to black out in about another 30 seconds.
You can predict the time-outs? You've got it bad, my friend. :upset: |
Actually, they're getting more and more erratic now. Never less then 2 minutes, but never more than 5.
|
Oh my god, there have been more explosions in London today. Three underground stations.

Why the fuck would I lie about this? |
She's not lying. My grandma's friend just called, flipping out about it.

What he said. At least it isn't as bad as the last one, only one person injured and no deaths, but the poor Londoners. I can't imagine how shaken and scared some must be. |

Yeah, it's pretty sad. I'd be afraid to even step outside if I were over there. :( |

Same here. I really can't get a grip with stuff like this. |

They seem to be pulling through it pretty well, though. Better than Americans take our crises, anyway. Cartoonist Jon Kovalick gave his tribute to the Londoners in a comic that featured the (fictional) quote, "I've been blown up by a better class of bastard than this before." |
Terrorists should GTFO of my country
|
And all that on our independence day. Look at the bright side, I don't have to go to work.

BBC said that after the first explosions, people were still out in the streets and what not. I admire them for that. |

also, what OS are you using?
*sigh* This is encouraging :) Windows XP home edition (in greek) is what I use. |
Ive met many brits since ive been over here in Europe, and it is more or less just a different mentality. The british people just take situations in a different way than Americans (or even Germans) do because of the way their lives are from day to day.
Still, you have to give credit to the Brits for putting up with that. What i want to know is why is london all of a sudden a hot target, i mean okay the G8 conference is one thing, but other than that? |
