Get powertab.
That's the first important step. |
Get powertab.
That's the first important step.
I have powertab and guitar pro , but i dont know how to plug my bass into my cpu . BTW - Has anyone looked at the tab i made for my line |
Plugging your bass in will not help exporting to MIDI.
If you want MIDI, type your tab into Powertab. Then: File > Export > MIDI File |
Err not midi. But Someone told me that theres w ay to plug my bass into my cpu and then what i play will apear in tab form. Or somthing like like.
|
You said midi...
No, there's no way of doing that that I am aware of. There is no way your computer could tell, for instance, whether you were playing the G string open, or the D string 5th Fret, or the A string 10th fret, etc. To the computer, it's just G. |
****it. Im possitive thought , because this guy said he didnt have a mic so he just "plugged in his guitar" to powertab and it tabbed what he played
|
Nope... not with the powertab I have.
I just did a quick run through all the options and help topics and there's nothing on it. Plus there's the aforementioned 'wouldn't work' thing. |
Screw it , ill just tab it on GP. Ill put the file up when im done.
|
Hello guys.
|
I think that it would be possible .. but not with a program like power tab. ANd you would probably need piezo pickups.
:amaze: |
Ok, with Piezos it would work, but you'd need a different output system on the bass as well - by necessity individual string piezo output is merged together when it leaves the bass.
|
Good point ...

Okay here it is . I dosnt sound the way i want to , I had to re make the rythm because I couldnt get the beat i wnated on GP. ANy ways tell me what you think
|
That's really nice, actually. I found myself playing along.
|
BTW Alex , hows your dean treating you?
|
Really well.
I'm getting used to it fast. The tones are warm and deep, but can become razor sharp at the twist of a dial. The neck is surprisingly fast for its size (7.4cm across at the 12th fret) At some point I'm going to have to destring it and give the trussrod a little tweak, but not right now. |
oh i see how it is, no hi's back :upset:
