a 45 minute extremely repetitive noise track I just made

Ventriloquist 05-08-2009 04:39 PM

What do you use for making electronic tracks? Program/Keyboard? I'm willing to pay for a good program.

Meatplow 05-08-2009 05:03 PM

there's some good freeware out there like audacity and the like, I use ableton live and adobe audition though. I have a cheap $100 casio keyboard with a MIDI output that works perfectly as a synth controller. Check out the jam session forum, there is some good information in there.

Millencolin - [Pennybridge Pioneers #06] Penguins And Polarbears

love it

Do you use a drum machine or do you use your keyboard for that as well?

yeah man, major kick of nostalgia listening to this album over and over :chug:
Do you use a drum machine or do you use your keyboard for that as well?
technically you don't even need a keyboard (it's handy to have one though), as you can sequence everything in order on the screen, no need for a drum machine. have a look at this video, some of it might seem foreign to you but might give you a basic idea of how its done.

didnt care much for this album, had a couple cool parts and decent instrumentation but the vocals were blah.

this is a cool album. didnt really like when vocals were used on Tyger by Tangerine Dream but they work really well on this one

Tyler 05-08-2009 06:01 PM
