Jaundice 03-03-2010 06:45 PM

jesus christ, that's like everybody important from five or six different circles or late 80's/90's alternative music

Meatplow 03-03-2010 07:08 PM

It's insane.

Gub was pretty good from what I remember. It seems to be accused of having a strong lack of focus and consistency, as you might expect though.

jrowa001 03-04-2010 11:11 AM

my anthropology professor namedropped Einstürzende Neubauten the other day when talking about industrialism. i think i was the only one that knew who she was talking about

Meatplow 03-04-2010 05:23 PM

lol, nice. :)
Somebody recc me a neofolk band that I might actually like.
If you didn't like DiJ you won't like most of the neofolk bands tbh, try In Gowan Ring.

Aaron 03-04-2010 08:02 PM

Ulver's stuff verges on it at times. Do you like their newer stuff Jussy?

Stormrider 03-04-2010 08:21 PM

check out Changes - Fire of Life, Retired.

Jaundice 03-05-2010 05:18 PM

hey haz would you mind using your skills to help me locate an album called "No Vowels , No Bowels" by an Australian post-punk/industrial project called Rhythmx Chymx ?

Meatplow 03-05-2010 05:28 PM

http://www.nonightsweats.com/nns_reissues_aus02.htm

search this compilation on soulseek

Jaundice 03-05-2010 06:04 PM

i don't want to pay the registration fee :upset:

Meatplow 03-05-2010 07:14 PM

What? It's free, just download and install it.

Search Rhythmx Chymx and it should find their part (No Vowels , No Bowels, i'm not sure what it means by 1/2 LP maybe it's missing tracks).

Meatplow 03-06-2010 06:10 AM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia-cmkJkAsY

Can't stop listening to this, the end parts are some of the best industrial i've ever heard.

Jaundice 03-06-2010 12:02 PM

I've tried to download it once or twice but I remember it saying something about a registration fee, I'll try again tho.

It's just one half of a split album, the other half is Ear Bitten by Severed Heads.

edit: yeah it won't let me download without paying a fee.

Meatplow 03-06-2010 04:43 PM

http://www.slsknet.org/download.html

Did you get it from the client link at the bottom here? I just downloaded, and reinstalled it with zero hassle, even with a message saying that if I have paid for soulseek anywhere I am being ripped off :p

Also... it's the first link on google.
