You guys listen to Binary Star at all? My buddy bought Masters of the Universe for 5 bucks before they got big cause they're from around here. I'm just now listening, but so far it's pretty cool.

Just bought Dan the Automator's [I]2K7[/I]. Anyone heard it yet? Haven't given it a listen yet but will do a bit later, pretty excited, got some wicked voices on it, Ghostface, Zion I, Hieroglyphics, A Tribe Called Quest, Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco...

It's all basketball themed which takes away from it, in my opinion. I've only heard it once though because my friend put it on at work.


And yes, Binary Star are great. One Bee Lo's solo albums are really good, too.

That's true, it does detract from it a bit. Had I known that I might not have bought it. I'm glad I did though, it's still really good. The song with Fabolous is surprisingly strong, one of the best for sure.

Yeah Jurassic 5 are great. There newest album isn't as good as previous albums but it is still pretty good. I like the song with Dave Matthews, "Work It Out".

Also digging Snoop Doggs new album at the moment, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment.

New RJD2 is more electronic then hip hop. It's not bad though, just not really what I expected.

I thought that album was rather mediocre, really. Bought it for cheap and only listened to it twice. Maybe I should give it another try though.

I heard the new RJD2 only had a few samples in it and it was mostly RJD2 playing all the instruments himself. That does sound good, I think, plus the tracks on his myspace are quite good. I'm gonna have a search for the leak.
