Haha, but from what Ive heard (one or two songs) Grand Magus are pretty damn good.
But pate probably jacks off to them 10 times a day.

I bought Wolf's Return from Tower before it went out of buisness for 5 bucks.

Grand Magus is surely past the legal limit of ownage allowed on one disc.

dfcslings 12-23-2006 07:18 PM

Anyone know where to get seeded torrent of Grand Magus' stuff?

Or an upload maybe?

rippa32 12-23-2006 07:25 PM

You could buy it. But if youre looking for some single songs for a taste you find them in the shop section of http://www.stonerrock.com

...would you be so kind as to upload it??????? *will give e-secks*

And Fake Jake: It's more like 15 a day.

And your impersonation was about right. :p

Shattered_Future 12-23-2006 07:56 PM

I will. Don't expect it at a set time. It will come to you when you least expect it...perhaps in the middle of the night. Perhaps tomorrow. Perhaps yesterday.

Or, most likely, whenever I can do it. Which usually takes a few days. :p

Pssshhht. Weak.

I'm already on 23. Although that's for Ulver, so it's not perverse or anything.

FJ: That's nothing for Ulver. Try 23 times a day for each album.

Heh, no.

There's only so much Sleepy to go around.

rippa32 12-24-2006 03:02 AM

So does anybody here know what tuning Cathedral use for the guitar? I wanted to learn North Berwick Witch Trials but the tab gave a tuning ive never seen before BEADF#B. Im wondering if the guy doing the tabs stuffed up, or if cathedral use 7 strings and got confused.

EDIT: Oh silly me, just realised thats 2 and half steps down from standard.

Shattered_Future 12-24-2006 08:18 AM

That's like tuning a 7 string uses, cept it's on a 6 and the 2nd string is dropped half a step more.

It's also great for using your strings as a guitar strap. They're so loose you can pick the guitar up by them.

pate 12-24-2006 09:50 AM

I've always seen C standard. That's what TEM and TCB are in, at least.

AlienEater 12-28-2006 04:33 PM

I just listened to Blues For The Red Sun for the first time in ages. It's still amazing.

ATM 12-28-2006 05:19 PM

Yes sir. That's my favorite Kyuss album. I've been on a pretty big Melvins kick lately, I need more!

magicbus 12-28-2006 05:45 PM

Alright guys, I was looking to download some Sleep albums, but I can't find them on soulseek cause it's gay and it sucks. Does anybody have a link for a stoner metal torrent site or something?

ATM 12-28-2006 05:50 PM

Which album are you looking for?

magicbus 12-28-2006 06:09 PM

Dopesmoker and Jerusalem, I guess.

I'm getting some Kyuss now though. I never really gave those guys a fair shot.

pate 12-28-2006 06:48 PM

I got ya, Aaron.

the2stranger 12-29-2006 06:45 AM

Damn.
You just got to love Simen's vocals on Lamented Souls.
Great doom.

I wonder if they'll ever release a full length

Apocalyptic Raids 12-29-2006 06:47 AM

Lamented Souls are awesome, they need to do a full-length.
