From Here to Eternity Live is a wicked good live album. The nice thing is it isn't just one concert, so you get a spectrum from their whole career.
And I have no Idea what the difference is on the anniversary edition, I have London Calling on vinyl, original copy. Thats just how cool I am. |
There's an extra disc of alternate versions and demos on the Anniversary edition.
|
i bought the singles today and its Awesome (capital A)

i think the next clash cd im gunna get is going to be Live From Here to Enternity |
I think the next cd I'm going to be will be streetcore...
but I might not buy a cd for a while becuase I have to save up money to buy a new bass because I broke mine... :upset: |
how did you break it?..what kind of bass you getting
|
I'm getting a fender jazz bass
My squier P bass just kind of fell apart. The input thing fell out and is lost, and the top strap thing fell off, and I think there's a crack somehwere. I suppose I could get it repaired... but I want a new bass |
sweet i love jazz basses...wonder if paul ever played on a jazz, i know he didnt own one though
|
do you have it, sean?
(sean, right? and combatrock*bass = travis? I should know this by now)
Yea, I've got it. If you wanna get it, you should get Westway first, cause its a must-have. |

When I was at the guitar store I was playing London Calling on a Telecaster and it sounded perfect. |
Tele's are awesome. The neck pickup is very warm and the bridge pickup as very bright and hot.
I dont like Jazz basses they are a bit bright , i feel. The P bass is warm and thumpy and has a ton of low end. Mick played leads on a stratocaster for straight to hell. Simonon Played a J Bass on The Magnificent Seven I believe. |

How did this thread get so big?

And I'm not sure about Paul using a J Bass on Magnificent 7, but it is possible. |
2 months, 91 pages. Nice.
