Ah, that explains it.

I don't think I'd really need anything more than 40GB within immediate reach at any time, maybe 60 just to be safe or something.

Cheers :).

you should put that rhyme into the lyrics page, its pretty good

Wintermute 10-30-2004 09:53 AM

Anytime.
you should put that rhyme into the lyrics page, its pretty good
Haha, the sad thing is it's pretty much the same as when I actually write lyrics/poetry .

gaslight 10-30-2004 10:29 AM

Anyway, out of curiosity, what are the living arrangements for you guys?

Do most of us live at home with one or two parents? Or do some of you have your own place?

Wintermute 10-30-2004 10:30 AM

I'm at uni, so I live in a rented house with 4 other students.

Who I am sure are just crazy about my subwoofer, bass amp, and occasional all night bassing sessions. (my fingers hurt :upset: )

Muadip 10-30-2004 10:31 AM

My parents are devorsed so I'm living with my mother at the moment... but I'm moving soon.. when your 20 it's starting to be a drag to live with your mother :D

gaslight 10-30-2004 10:36 AM

Ah yeah, I live with my mum too.

I'm 18, and I plan to start saving soon for an apartment or flat or something. It's probably much more expensive than I can handle though, so it might not happen for a few years. I would really like to have my own place by roughly the time I turn 19.

Muadip 10-30-2004 10:36 AM

Wintermute: That's great!! Me and some friends from Colledge (I think.. don't remember the translation) are doing the exact same thing when we start at Uni next year :) But they are musicians as well so they won't mind :P

Wintermute 10-30-2004 10:49 AM

Hah! The neighbours might!

If I lived with musicians the jamming would never cease...

Muadip 10-30-2004 10:58 AM

Indead :) We're making a basement/rehersal room.. Theres two guitarists, a singer/keys and me on bass.. we just need a drummer to join in :) but I fear there will be more jamming than studing, but I'm applying for music so it's all fine with me :D

Wintermute 10-30-2004 11:00 AM

Ah, in that case jamming IS studying.

gaslight 10-30-2004 11:00 AM

Ooh you too? Good stuff.

I'm starting a course at the Australian Institute Of Music next year, begins in late February.
Sweet deal. How was it?
Eh ... it was alright. Not as good as everyone is making it out to be. I prefer the original, but it was pretty fun. I did only play it for like 20 minutes before I got bored with the people playing it ....

:amaze: 10-30-2004 11:32 AM
