My wrist is killing me.
It feels like I've got a huge air bubble in the joint and it wont pop.
Agh.

LoneStarDrummer 03-06-2006 04:30 PM

my wrist hurts from writing really small on my formula sheet for physics. i was up until 2am writing that thing out. then i had to get up a 8 and take a test. the formula sheet was front and back on an 8.5x11 piece of paper completely filled with fomulas

Panopticon 03-06-2006 04:30 PM

Janeway 03-06-2006 05:08 PM

I didn't understand your post.
And the Stronghold isn't that fast.

But still, I'm pissed.

Junooni 03-06-2006 05:17 PM

Well, guys, I didn't want to do this, but I'm going to have to. There's auditions for a gig in two days, on Wednesday.

Problem: we don't have a drummer. I was hoping one of you guys could help me out. All I need is a backing track for this song right here, something to play in the background while the rest of us perform the song.

http://rapidshare.de/files/14874866/12_Dobara_Phir_Say__Acoustic_.mp3.html

Again, I've been looking around for weeks for a drummer, but no one is available, or if they are, they just can't play the song.

I didn't want to make a separate thread just for this, and from my experience in strongholds, these are usually full of good people, so I'm hoping one of you guys, or girls, can help me out here.

Thanks.

Jezen 03-06-2006 05:48 PM

That would be like bombing for peace...

...Or fucking for virginity.

Janeway 03-06-2006 05:50 PM

Isn't wine good for you?
That's what the news tells us.
But I'm starting to think they want us all to become obese alcoholics, 'cause they report that story and the 'chocolate is good for your health' story every month.

GhostGrooveMike 03-06-2006 05:55 PM

i don't feel very known on these forums yet ive been here for a quite a while
i might have to do something crazy to get attention!!

Jezen 03-06-2006 05:55 PM

Red wine is supposed to be good for your production of red blood cells.

GhostGrooveMike 03-06-2006 05:57 PM

:chug: drink up then

saars 03-06-2006 06:02 PM

wow, a good thing and a bad thing happened to me today... (again)

anyways, I was in art class, and soon enough my algebra teacher, the principle, AND my music teacher came over to our classroom. My art teacher calls me over to talk to him outside the classroom, and he starts making small talk with me. Then he sais to tell him if my homeroom teacher is coming. When she does come, we all sit down and be quiet. Once she comes in, my music teacher goes over to her, slowly takes the books away from her arms and puts it on another desk. Then he holds her hand, and takes her to the front of the classroom. You know what happens next? (just guess...) He starts licking her vagina. no, I'm kidding. Anyways, he bends down to propose to her. She sais yes! all the girls in my class then start getting all emo. It got pretty damn weird.

Right before lunch started, I got this huge stomach ache. It hurt like a friggin mother ****er. I also felt like I was gonna vomit. So i go home early!! ^_^

that's my news for today. How's everyone else?

Jezen 03-06-2006 06:05 PM

What kind of as$ clown proposes at school?!

Janeway 03-06-2006 06:06 PM

I would barf if someone did that infront of me.
It's just not right. Males and females marrying.
Yuck.

saars 03-06-2006 06:13 PM
What kind of as$ clown proposes at school?!
Just wait till you see them both in person:rolleyes: Oh wait, you probably never will. LUCKY YOU!!!:)

Janeway 03-06-2006 06:22 PM

I wouldn't mind it, actually.
It'd get you good and fired in America if it was another lady person proposing, but still....

Ideally I'd like to be proposed to infront of a ton of people with a hugely expensive platinum ring at about 10 o'clock at night under the stars. And we're going to have a huge expensive wedding and I'm going to have a lovely black dress and hair cut just below my ears. Of course I'd be tanned and fit, and she'd be fantastically sexy and asian in a black tuxedo with a big top hat with her shorty-lenghty hair poking out.
I suppose it'd be useless, though.

I don't fantasize about marrying my girlfriend.
Uh oh.

Tim 03-06-2006 06:28 PM

so the person i bought the AA crash on ebay from finally got the money order today. Should have the cymbal by friday. :D woot.

Sick-O 03-06-2006 06:33 PM

^^ Sweet bro..

moogoogaipan 03-06-2006 06:33 PM

so, UT is having 4 prominent people try out to fill our new percussion director position. It's kind of fun, we get to drill these doctors of percussion and ask them all sorts of specific questions to see if how they would handle our studio.

So far we've had
Mark Douglass... least experience (collegiate teaching wise) but a diamond in the rough for sure... my #1 pick

then today we had
Scott Harris... reminds me of John Travolta. Real nice guy, and an extremely accomplished percussionist. I still would prefer Mark.

two more, but I don't know who they are yet.

no one? :upset:

styler 03-06-2006 07:45 PM

it takes more than two days to come up with even a ****ty recording. not counting if you want it in time. not to mention. not everyone has a studio in there basement they can just run downstairs to record on. if your band needs a drummer, i wouldnt do a gig without one either. a recording wont cut it for most gigs.

moogoogaipan 03-06-2006 07:46 PM
no one? :upset:
actually... I might be able to help out. Let me see though.

Bloodlust 03-06-2006 08:19 PM
