Mitchell Royce 11-22-2004 04:04 PM

I'm relaxing from a stressful day of doing nothing and not paying attention at Uni. God, Linguistics is boring at the moment.

Spaceman Spiff 11-22-2004 04:05 PM

craps, 3rd :(

didgeridoo my didgeridong.

The didgeridoo playing astronaut was eating some passionfruit while wondering to himself, "How in hell can I use the words: newsreader, antiquing, Australasia, and passionfruit, as well as didgeridoo, in one sentence, without it sounding forced?!"

Wintermute 11-22-2004 04:06 PM

Nice try, but that's cheating.

Digeridoo's have actual notes? Well I learned something today.

Omega Red 11-22-2004 04:07 PM

'Astronaut', 'Newsreader', 'Antiquing', 'Australasia' and 'Passionfruit'
Yesterday after i played my Didgeridoo my mom and i went out, and I found this Newsreader Article, while my mom was antiquing, about an Astronaut who landed in Australasia and survived on passionfruit for over a year while he was stranded on one of those islands.

mod me

Switchay 11-22-2004 04:07 PM

Espbassor 11-22-2004 04:07 PM

I keep thinking this isn't the casual thread because it doesn't have 5 + pages on it :upset:

Spaceman Spiff 11-22-2004 04:08 PM
Nice try, but that's cheating.
their tuned to a certain frequency and you can change their pitch with your lips by about a half step in each direction

Switchay 11-22-2004 04:11 PM
This thread's keyword is 'Didgeridoo'. Be sure to use it a lot!

Bonus points if you can combine it in a sentence with 'Astronaut', 'Newsreader', 'Antiquing', 'Australasia' and 'Passionfruit' without sounding forced.
Alright..

So I picked up the newsreader today - it was talking about an antiquing passionfruit, being found in Australasia, wherever the hell that is -- isn't that where that one astronaut, James Bagain was found playing the didgeridoo?

Mitchell Royce 11-22-2004 04:12 PM

Once upon a time in Australasia, a newsreader was overheard saying, during the last seconds of the program when the didgeridoo outro music faded in, "...astronauts will not return to earth due to a messup involving the passionfruit paste and the ships central computer............Melissa how 'bout you come over for some major antiquing tonight, now that your husband is stuck in space, eh?"

neal_672 11-22-2004 04:13 PM
