<3<3<3 11-05-2009 09:13 AM

ugh my friends are lame.

I bought two tickets for funfunfunfest for my friend and I for his birthday. I even asked him to make sure he wanted to go before I got them. So I did, but now he says he made a promise to somebody else to do something that weekend and now he can't go.

So then I ask my other friend, and she says cool, but now just yesterday she's bailing too.

So goddammit I wasted 75 dollars and I'm going to the festival by myself.

rasputin 11-05-2009 09:17 AM

just ask someone else

Glitterati 11-05-2009 09:31 AM

I love being woken up at 5:30 in the morning by the sound of my cat ripping apart a live mouse.

I haven't been to a decent show in ages. Hate having no money and living in the middle of nowhere. Really want to get down to the Warp party next month with Broadcast, Battles, Plaid, Flying Lotus and more.

sweboy 11-05-2009 11:39 AM

Gonna see Brightblack Morning Light towards the end of the month, gonna be hottt

twinsistermoon is pretty cool. i'd never heard of them before. vashti-bunyan-esque.

Carl Sagan 11-06-2009 12:43 AM

why listen to something that sounds like vashti bunyan when you can listen to vashti bunyan

YourBiggestFan 11-06-2009 04:44 PM

okay, that's a retarded argument.

Liebensaft 11-07-2009 04:45 PM

Brutal. I made a contract with myself to not puke in '09. So far, so good.

poopie 11-07-2009 05:13 PM

my crappy band playing a crappy house show

best part no doubt -- drunk asian guy goes rock star for 1 second at like 5:00, and then is very satisfied -_-

second half of part 2 video is probably the highlight of the set

Jaundice 11-07-2009 05:35 PM

all I've done in '09 is puke for the most part

poopie 11-07-2009 05:37 PM

i dont puke and when i do i dont remember it

Jaundice 11-07-2009 05:40 PM

Jaundice 11-08-2009 12:33 AM

i just puked my guts up

Liebensaft 11-08-2009 06:07 PM

Learn to hold it down, yo. Puking messes with your esophagus and teef and leaves a nasty hydrochloric acid residue in your throat.
According to the Post, Fuchs was attending a benefit party in Williamsburg when he and a friend became stuck in an elevator between floors. The two opened the elevator doors and attempted to jump across the elevator shaft to the nearest floor. The friend made it; Fuchs didn't.
Wanker 11-09-2009 07:17 PM

The Fiery Furnaces were awesome this weekend. The only weird thing was the venue--it's really small but the stage is up really high. The band told the audience that they felt like they were animals in a zoo with everyone looking up at them.

YDload 11-09-2009 09:58 PM

people look down at animals in a zoo. or straight ahead. but rarely up.
