Denis Leary - Lock N' Load
actually my friend doug registered as emanc and got banned for advertising
he made a thread about his jose gonzalez remix; i think that was what did it it mightve been better to tell him that blatantly advertising is against the rules because now he wont come back to the forums cuz he thinks theyre lame :upset:
yeah that sounds familiar. but what do you want me to do about it?! next time you should sign him in so i know he's not just another spammer. let me know. |
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
Bauhaus - In the Flat Field I'm on a post punk kick. I remember when I first discovered post punk - I was a guy who had only ever liked pretty standard punk rock. This stuff blew my mind back then. Post punk and 80s hardcore/alternative, and listening to The Pop Group, Minutemen, The Fall etc, for the first time. I've never really felt as excited by music as I was then. Listening to these reminds me of that feeling. |
listening to what is apparently the single from the new Of Montreal. Absolutely awful, just like all their other music. Barnes has one of the most unappealing voices in modern music, no doubt at all.
Very interesting. I listened to the whole album today, and I thought it was fantastic.

Phantasm OST
Creeeeeepy |
Digging Yo La Tengo- Painful, after like, 3 months of having it and not getting it.
also digging Klaxons. That one single is addictive. |
A lot of Neil Young lately. I've had this David Vandervelde album for a bit so I gave it a spin, too. S'ok, not much worth about it except for "Wisdom From a Tree" which is pretty awesome. Also wondering if Air's "Left Bank" is an ode to Left Banke. Not a big fan of Air, but the new one is pleasant.
|
Klaxons leaked today. They rule.
