That's a pretty poor excuse if you ask me. I'm not going to rag on you saying you can't play it, but until proven otherwise, that's what I'd have to assume. You have a guitar lead I assume. You only need something that will cost you a dollar or so from an electronics shop. That won't break the bank, will it?

However, I was thinking. I know the 'next album' topic has been done to death, but... Would people object to the next album sounding like I Disappear, No Leaf Clover and -Human (obviously, without the orchestra)? I think it could be pretty neat. Like Re/Load, but miles better.

Well it wouldn't make me extremely happy, but as long as they don't do St. Anger again I'm OK with that. ReLoad is the only new album I own and it's all right.

my freind can do it but again no mic, he uses a jackson dmg dinky, through a crate mx10 with a zakk wylde overdrive pedal, but hes never home and can never come over.

I really would have in enjoyed hearing the peoples rendition of Fight Fire with Fire............

Yeah, No Leaf Clover is an awesome song, so is -Human, but I think its about time they thought about bringing out a thrash album. They haven't done any real heavy stuff since 1990 with Black Album so we've been waiting 15 years. Yeah they tried new stuff with the Loads and St Anger but they really do need to bring back some old skool influence. Its been long enough now.

You know, St. Anger is still heavy, and pretty thrashy. If you can get past the annoying drum sound, and Hetfield's voice.

my attempt at MoP, only guitars.

all lead solo parts were recorded in about 2 hours, no metronome so they blow balls. Also, in the main solo for the scratchy part, I just improv'd since I don't know how to play it. Also the song was recorded at different times, so sometimes its faster/different. o well.

We can just count it here. Just ask like what song to do form any album and see what gets the most "wants" or something like that
