So today, the two worst activities possibly known to man coincide in my schedule; going to the dentist, and mowing lawns.

Shoot. :(
Unlucky.
The dentist wanted to give me braces until i was 17. I was like "wtf no." My teeth are pretty much straight except for one tooth anyway.
Everyone's getting simple names like Trev
Yeah, but that's my name, dammit! I'm a simple man.

:p

Jev 04-04-2006 10:19 AM

Change it to Bloodthirsty Trev, Pillaging on a foggy night.

Or Just trev.

Shred Danson 04-04-2006 10:24 AM

Hah, some guy right now is really making me bloodthirsty..Nichole's ex. If I see him any time soon, his face will look more fucked up than mine, that's for sure. Goddamned bastard...

But yeah, Trev just suits me fine, haha

Jev 04-04-2006 10:26 AM

Haha. If you're going to kill, use a screwdriver.

Shred Danson 04-04-2006 10:45 AM
Haha. If you're going to kill, use a screwdriver.
Nah, I'd much rather use my bare hands.

Just found out the dicksmoke's in jail anyway.

Hope he likes rim jobs.
Haha. If you're going to kill, use a screwdriver.
Good fucking times man, I love that name. :chug:

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-04-2006 10:57 AM

I hope I never have to go to jail. It's sounds pretty lame there.

Emphasis on "high".
Yeah, I'm on Effexor, but it's been prescribed to me. I'm not just experimenting. I'm not sure what to do about them though, because the depression comes in brief periods and I feel like what I'm taking now isn't enough and taking any more will be too much. Drugs are not fun to play with. It's too bad the therapy did next to nothing.
I've actually never heard of Effexor... Is it just an anti-depressant, or is it also an ADD inhibitor or stimulant or anything? I know that there are a few anti-depressants that do multiple things, but yeah..

Sorry for the uber late reply, too. :p

Lord Abortion 04-04-2006 11:43 AM
I went to another local band's practice session the other day, and two of the guys in the band were drunk and one was busy checking himself out in the mirrors (he's a new guy in the band and he thinks he's the ****, hah). One other was tired as hell and the singer was just looking so frustrated. It pisses me off that some people don't take their music seriously, don't act like they give a damn about it. Practice isn't a time for bull****ting or getting drunk, especially when you have a big show lined up.
Never a truer word, man.

Music is serious business and I hate people pissing about at practices.

I'm hellish sorry about your problems with Nichole...I wish you luck and hope everything sorts itself out.

i am the robots 04-04-2006 11:47 AM

Yo guys...

I've got good and bad news.

Good news = the black metal song will be uploaded today.

Bad news = a really good friend is pregnent :upset:

kurrpt 04-04-2006 11:47 AM

effexor is for generalized anxiety

/works with prescription drugs

as far as the whole practice thing goes, I take music extremely serious. I just have no desire to lug my gear to a space where im not going to benefit from it, and im not talking about getting gigs
effexor is for generalized anxiety

I could probably use that.

Still having 'band' troubles?

Oh, and more bad news:
I accidentally gave my best friend a concussion.

yea, im starting to get that feeling about not wanting to go, but its not really like i started going. I pre-emtive thing I guess. Fuk it and the band. I practiced down strokes and upstrokes last night. Better for me than a whole week with those guys.

How do you accidentally give someone a concussion? I made my bros head bleed on accident once. I was swinging a backpack around that had a wood block in it (forgot) and caught with the corner. Fukker bled for a while

i am the robots 04-04-2006 11:54 AM

Basically: Shane is going to his locker, I pelvic thrust into him joking around saying, "Shane, I cannot resist you," at the same moment he bends his head down and hits it on his locker.

I felt like a total piece of shit, but he's fine with it.... his girlfriend is in my class right now, she just keeps glaring at me.

But yeah, it pisses me off that I feel like I'm telling my friends, "told you so."

The friend of mine who's pregnent is acting like she didn't expect it to happen when she's been sleeping around like crazy.

Also, my ex and her boyfriend/former friend of mine broke up for like the 12th time this year... and she comes crying to me about it.

I'm seriously just fed up with people being freaking retards.

On a brighter note me and my girlfriend celebrated our second anniversary, yesterday. 2 years, wow, who would've thunk. :)

Oh and I saw Walk the Line.

heh, nice.

are you playing the music night tomorrow? or should i leave the rotten fruit at home :p

ATM 04-04-2006 12:33 PM

Got my first response to my ad:

We are looking for another person who wants to make good music. If you
are
interested, just let me know, we will have you come try out.
----------------------------About
Us----------------------------------------------

We need some1 who can play heavy/speed/progressive/melodic metal and
some
one who is fast at makin melodies or rhythms.Need to have their own
transportation. Back up vocals is a plus, that includes singing and
screaming. Also need someone with a good attitude and whos willing to
listen
to what everyone in the band has to say. Our main influences are
KillSwitch
Engage, Arch Enemy, Bleeding through,Atreyu, Across five Aprils, Every
time
I die, Ill Nino, Puya, BTAM, Finger 11,As I lay dying and all that good
stuff.The band
collectively likes metal, but we all have ecletic backgrounds that we
want
to bring into the mix. Heavy with nice break downs and unforgettable
choruses.

Currently we are Singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer..we need that one
person to bring in what they have to offer. We all have decent gear,
and
great attitudes. We are looking for someone that enjoys metal, but can
bring
that different feel into the band. More of a punk, classical guitar
over
solid riffs and harmony. We practice in springfield,VA saturday and
sunday,
but
we are looking to spread the days out once we get YOU into the band.

We normally tune in C only because it sounds thicker with one
guitarist. But
we want to do a mix of acoustic/spanish guitar stuff, so we are tuning
back
in E or at the most Drop D or D flat(maybe).

So if you want to come and jam, see how it goes. Email me or call

/

Hmmm don't know about these guys haha

superpeer 04-04-2006 12:38 PM

So that's where Springfield is. Well, well.

"Ecletic" Background, huh? :p

NP: Outkast - Ms. Jackson

I'll tell you later, we're waiting to hear back from these kids as to whether they're playing or not, then if they aren't, we are.

TojesDolan 04-04-2006 12:41 PM

Seems good times but I don't like the new-metal vibe they have going on. :-/

Eleventeen: Eh, bad news about that girl that's knocked up. Tends to happen, nonetheless. I'd be scared to sh¡t if I got a girl pregnant. I don't want to spread my mental illnesses to the world. :-|
