cbmartinez 07-29-2007 11:25 PM
Chris, have you heard Thursday's 1997 demo tape?
No, I'm sure it's pretty abysmal but I'd like to hear it. Do you have it?

Yeah, its pretty bad, Geoff sounds horrible. It has Dying In New Brunkswick, Wind Up, and Mass as Shadows. Ill send it to you if I catch you on AIM sometime.

I also have a Negative Approach cover from them.

Also check out The One Up Downstairs. They recorded one 3 song 7" and broke up before releasing it. I can upload it if you're interested. (This is directed at the dude who asked for the Kinsella projects, but I can upload it for anyone else aswell)

Mass As Shadows is one of my favorite songs by them. I don't think that's a legitimate demo tape seeing as a) Wind Up is from Full Collapse b) I have the Negative Approach cover "Evacuate", it's from the NA tribute album Tomorrow Seems So Hopeless. I don't know, it sounds fishy. The time frame doesnt seem right.

cobert 07-30-2007 04:40 PM

Its an earlier version of Wind Up, this Mass as Shadows is shorter, and the NA cover wasnt on the demo, I was just saying that I have that too.

SGlove 07-30-2007 05:40 PM

I thought Mass as Shadows was in between WATT and ACBTLD?

cbmartinez 07-30-2007 06:14 PM

Definitely not. You can tell from the recording that it's Waiting era. The CD it was released on In Honor: A Compilation To Beat Cancer, was released in between WATT And ACBTLD.

cobert 07-30-2007 06:30 PM

That version was 6 minutes, the one on this demo is only 4.

iamrockzorz 07-30-2007 09:39 PM

comeback kid any good? i heard a bit of their newest cd and it seemed pretty good.

Concubine 07-30-2007 10:24 PM

cbmartinez 07-30-2007 11:31 PM

Comeback Kid are really awesome!

-2004

cobert 07-31-2007 12:07 AM

Hahahahaha

Comeback kid arent bad, but not special. I heard a few songs from the new album and they were fucking horrible though.

iamrockzorz 07-31-2007 10:35 AM

i c :-(. Oh well

cobert 07-31-2007 12:17 PM

So we got an adorable semi-stray cat in our house now, we named it 'baby kitty' which is funny.

SGlove 07-31-2007 12:23 PM

It should.
You should train it.

I don't like cats.

cobert 07-31-2007 12:30 PM

It kind of sucks because this cat doesnt know how to be indoors and its afraid of people and hiding behind the couch all of the time.

whiteminority 07-31-2007 12:33 PM

Just give it some time, it will chill out and get used to your presence.

SGlove 07-31-2007 04:19 PM

Neuter it.
Srsly

santi3hg 07-31-2007 04:26 PM

Seriously neuter it. My friend brought in a stray once and they let it out of the house for ten minutes and it had a litter of three.

RetiredAt21 07-31-2007 05:10 PM

I have a cat named Teddy. He rules.

cobert 07-31-2007 05:32 PM

We're not letting it out of the house.

We got it out from behind the couch, its pretty raddd.

cobert 07-31-2007 05:59 PM

Same thing with my dog, he used to hump a pillow all of the time.

br3ad_man 07-31-2007 06:49 PM

My dog got out last night (she does most days) and the cinema people called and I had to go pick her up from there at like 11pm.

santi3hg 07-31-2007 06:55 PM

Cinema people??

I have no pets :(.
