team_racket 07-28-2007 02:26 PM

im going to crack out full collapse right now. album of my teenage years, no doubt about it.

RetiredAt21 07-28-2007 02:41 PM

Thursday's singer makes me want to jam knives in my ears.

cobert 07-28-2007 03:06 PM

Also, Zen Arcade is a great album.

margin0walker 07-28-2007 03:25 PM

ive never heard of it. whats it about?

cobert 07-28-2007 03:49 PM
ive never heard of it. whats it about?
:amaze:

Ive only seen the first 5 minutes or so, but I was under the impression it was a very well known film.

cbmartinez 07-28-2007 04:29 PM

No it's not. It's one of Oliver Stone's best but it's not widely recognized.

Full Collapse rules, I listened to it today also. Perfect adolescent album, so incredibly emotional. I really doubt Thursday would go back to Victory after all the shit they said they faced on Victory. Plus, Victory is fucking terrible now (see: Atreyu- Greatest Hits)
snape dies.
Why do you post here?

Fort23 07-28-2007 04:35 PM

yo does anyone have Off Minor's Heat Death of the Universe on Aim?

cobert 07-28-2007 05:36 PM

Cap'n Jazz makes me feel like I suck at guitar.

Fort23 07-28-2007 06:52 PM

Especially the riff in Flashpoint:Catheter. That is some crazy ****.

santi3hg 07-28-2007 06:57 PM

I don't have any Cap N Jazz :(.

No thursday won't go back to victory, come on.

cobert 07-28-2007 07:01 PM

Go get Analphabetapolothology right now, son.

Fort23 07-28-2007 07:02 PM

Right now. Buy it. Then you'll have a whole portal of Kinsella-related projects, unless you've already cheked those out.

EDIT: (One more time just to make sure...), does anyone have Heat Death of the Universe? If not do you know where to find it?

cobert 07-28-2007 07:16 PM

No I do not have it. You mean you couldnt find it on slsk or bittorrent or anything?

Also, Cap'n Jazz is the best Kinsella project.

santi3hg 07-28-2007 07:22 PM

Have not listened any of the Kinsella related bands.

Umm, funeral diner broke up why hasn't this been posted and made a thread?

cobert 07-28-2007 07:24 PM

When was this? I never really liked Funeral Diner anyhoo.

BUT SERIOUSLY GO DOWNLOAD ANALPHABETAPOLOTHOLOGY AND THEN GO LISTEN TO ALL 1450987 OTHER KINSELLA BANDS.

santi3hg 07-28-2007 07:39 PM

SGlove 07-29-2007 02:19 AM
Where'd you hear that. They're releasing a CD/DVD on Victory a) because Victory owns all of that material and b) they want to put all the stuff with Victory in the past. However, I haven't read anywhere that they'll be signing to Victory, which is what you're implying. Have you heard the same thing I have and are just postulating or have you heard real news?
I've heard that + an explination saying that they were trying to re-patch the relationship.

br3ad_man 07-29-2007 04:43 AM
Cap'n Jazz.

Joan of Arc.
These are the best, in reverse order of greatness.

cobert 07-29-2007 08:55 AM

Incorrect. Those are the best in that order.

I kind of dont like Joan of Arc. The other bands you didnt list I dont like at all.

CJ and AF are radddd though.

I'm all about Peregrine as of late. "Silas' Knife" and "February" are fucking incredible. I also have Two Conversations, Low Level Owl 2 and Lost Songs but haven't listened to them extensively.

cobert 07-29-2007 05:16 PM

Chris, have you heard Thursday's 1997 demo tape?

iarescientists 07-29-2007 07:01 PM

Low Level Owl 1 is my favourite.
